kkczParticipantHi, I’m from Serbia and I watched every match of Nemanja Bjelica in this season. He is wonderful player and smart guy. Bjelica arrived in Red Star two years ago. In his first season, coach was Svetislav Pesic(coach of Yugoslavia in Indianapolis, 2002:). Bjelica improved a lot. First, he played as PG, but later, he played as SF. He has a great feel for the game and makes plays thanks to his natural basketball ability. He is able to create scoring opportunities for teammates thanks to his great vision, ability to see overtop of defenses and passing precision. He is very very smart player(like Bodiroga) and that is his main feature.
I think that Bjelica will be at first round, because he deserves it! He can to play in every team in NBA, i’m sure. These are some video clips of Bjelica, enjoy!

morgatilParticipantIs this dude the next Hedo or Yaroslav Korolev???
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/21/2010 - 12:35pm #336807

JNixonParticipantI think he’s the next Hedo Turkoglu. I’ve seen him play and he shows legit point-forward skills with the ball-handling ability to make up for his lack of quickness. Very nice shooter. Looks good in the pick and roll too, which also helps his lack of athleticism. Not a great defender, but not a liability either. He’s got more long-term potential than the ability to step in immediately, but I think Orlando should look long and hard about taking him at 29. He’s a really good prospect on the offensive end.

MagikKnickParticipantHow good (or bad) of a defender is he?
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/21/2010 - 12:39pm #336812

kkczParticipanthe is good defender on ball, but sometimes he has problems when he plays defence without ball, understand:)?

birdyoungParticipantSounds like he loses focus. Not an endearing quality.

JNixonParticipantHe’s not that good on D right now, which is one of the things that makes him more of a 2 year/down the road prospect, but he’s not all that bad at all really. Probably below average though.

R-Dot-13ParticipantIf hes not taken at 29 by Orlando, NJ should grab him at 31.

kkczParticipantHe will go in Memphis maybe, Barone is satisfied with Bjelica

What is your opinion of Mike Taylor, who played with Bjelica in Red Star. He had played in Clippers last year and he had a solid season. He has incredible reflection

MagikKnickParticipantI like Mike Taylor, Hes a solid athletic-energy, point guard. When he was with the Clippers he had a few good games, and even lit the Knicks up in one game for like 30-something points.
Not a star, not a starter, but a solid bench PG

LeoMorenoParticipantLol this guy taught me to play basketball when I was a kid… He’s from my block 😀
Anyway, he was just a guy who played street basketball every day. Then, after a month we notice he’s gone. A year later he comes back from Austria where he spent a year playing for some team; he gets to Red Star, and gets selected to play for the national team right away. He can learn very fast, but I don’t think he’s ready for NBA. There are some guys in Serbian league way ahead of him and not even they are ready for NBA yet. (just search for Jan Vesely on youtube and you’ll want him asap)
Even though I’d really love to see him make it big in NBA like Stojakovic…/bravo za post 😛

Mnogo lose. A pogledaj ga sada. Zadnjih 10 utakmica najbolji odbrambeni igrac ikada. Tesko odbranu nauciti -.-”
Treba Bjelica kod Vujosevica malo na obradu pa onda u NBA XD0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/21/2010 - 1:18pm #336854

JNixonParticipantY’all making sex deals on this site? Come on…..let’s keep it basketball guys.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/21/2010 - 1:19pm #336855

Jebes Evropu, NBA!!! xD

kkczParticipantBarcelona has interest in signing Bjelica!
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/22/2010 - 12:04pm #337778

kkczParticipantWhere does Bjelica trains now, in which trainig-camp? Miami?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/23/2010 - 8:43pm #339298

RekeDMCParticipantI don’t know if it’s just me, but this guy seems like the second coming of Peja Stojakovic. A 6’10” small forward with a good jump shot and bad athleticism. Seems a lot like Peja.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/23/2010 - 11:59pm #339319

kkczParticipantpeja has a better shoot, but bjelica is very creative player, he is 6-10 and he can play PG, he has wonderful technique

khaled_a_dParticipantdo you think he will come to the NBA next season if a team wanted him?
