HitsterParticipantThanks for all the hard work Norrin and the rest of the people on here. Topic and possibly Dillingham now look too high and Salaun a bit low. Ironic that DaRon Holmes is now higher in official mocks than we placed him when some of us have been championing him for a while.

NorrinRaddParticipantNot sure if there’s a trade going on, but imo Holmes has a promise from OKC. They pick at 12. Should be interesting where he goes… This mock could be more accurate than all of ours though, who knows? Unpredictable draft year. Funny how are thoughts change on the top prospects after a month but intel of course plays a part.

HitsterParticipantI don’t know what deals could go down. Do Memphis want to go all in for a big possibly Clingan? Do the Spurs or Ainge at Utah make any moves. The Knicks have all those picks and Bojan Bogdanovic’s lightly guaranteed deal. If Houston take Clingan at 3 then is Eason in play etc?
Clingan is the guy who I think where he gets picked could affect how the next few picks go. I’m still uncertain where to put him in my mock.1+- Posted on: Sun, 06/23/2024 - 4:31am #1264644
NorrinRaddParticipantI’d like to see a Dejounte Murray trade go down. Watch, we’ll all be watching the draft and be floored when someone like Matas is the first pick! I have Clingan going 3rd overall. Not sure if it’s a trade or not, but I think he goes inside the top 4 somewhere and 3rd’s as good a guess as any I suppose. He could slip or even go number one. Also, Devin Carter has a lottery promise. Not sure from who though.
Who do you hope your Phoenix Suns draft?0

HitsterParticipantI’m rooting for us taking Holmes but if Edey is still there I don’t think we can pass on him. A lot depends who is gone or who has fallen outside to 20.
Where would Murray go? The Lakers possibly, could Spurs take him back for 4th pick and Hawks take Shepherd there?

NorrinRaddParticipantI think he could make a comeback on a team like the Lakers or the Spurs for sure. Hawks pairing Murray with Trae Young was a mistake and a waste of time. I like Murray actually. Rather have him than Austin Reaves for example. Or even Keldon Johnson. I’m sure he would cost those players and some, but it could be worth it. Probably not the popular view, but I think Murray is better than people think. He’s just been on weird situated teams at times of chaos.

HitsterParticipantpops turned Murray from a 29th pick into an All Star level player who the Spurs cashed in on. Murray is also a very good defender so teams would value that. Plus his contract isn’t huge compared to other guys of a similar level. He is still only 27 years old, has 3 guaranteed years on a favourable deal capwise so has good trade value IMO.
If the Spurs put up one of their picks this year and matching salaries I think Hawks would do a deal. The Hawks would have 1st and another top 10 pick to compliment Trae and co.
