Man, tons of talented dudes not drafted on this community mock one in particular being Isaiah Livers but it just goes to show how deep this class is. We’ll see how the real draft turns out.

Ibou Badji as well. It is amazing his 4 fouls and 3 turnovers in 12 career ACB minutes wasn’t a big winner with the coaches or GMs.

He was having a great tournament until he ran into Zach Edey. Kid that averaged 9 and 7 in college took him out of the game completely. Was actually hoping Toronto would draft him with a 2nd rounder but I guess him and Roko don’t want to be trapped in a situation where one of the 5 teams with half the 2nd round picks just selects him and stash’s him as a future asset with no plans to actually develop him because they got stuck with too many picks.

Badji was nowhere near ready for the NBA. It is ok. He is 18. I don’t know if he will be ready for Barcelona next year, much less an NBA team. It is for the best he waits, because he could develop. I hope if Barcelona doesn’t have minutes for him that they loan him out to an ACB team that will.

It is possible Prkacin is worried about the pick hoarders taking him just to have his rights. I think Vasilije Micic would be coming over to the NBA next year if his rights not be held by OKC. The problem is Prkacin probably will want to head to a more active club (playing more than once a week), and getting drafted could get more doors to open. It will be interesting to see where he lands.

Quentin Grimes WILL get drafted. That would shock me if he didn’t after his super combine. Crazy this site didn’t put him in the latest mock draft. Oh yeah and (GARZA!) eh! ehhhh!

The lottery is still a month away. I’ve no idea why they don’t do it now order is fixed and everyone then knows where they are.

Since it’s this time of year, imo I think we should at least for the lottery portion bump up the amount of votes needed to advance a prospect to be picked. Maybe first to 7 votes for lottery or something… and rest of the 1st round maybe 5 votes??? Then 2nd round something like 4. Idk, just thinking ahead, I do know we get more traffic on this site this time a year. Any thoughts??? Looking forward to doing it again obviously.

In past we struggled to even get a consensus of 3-5 votes.

We have struggled to get a consensus a couple years ago, but last year we had a real rapid-fire draft that went by quick, that’s the only reason I suggested it.

It should be 5 votes but with a 24 hour limit. After 24 hours whoever has the most votes gets picked. If theres a tiebreaker needed somebody changes there vote and picks between the players that are tied.

for the whole draft or the lottery? Because there’s only 34 days left til’ draft day… If we started today, we would need almost 2 players a day to finish in time… June 1st is deadline for players to withdrawal their names.
