Since I joined this site I have come to have a profound respect for the opinions of the members here. So I figured why wait for the so called experts when I have plenty of experts here at my disposal.

Mike Huguenin of yahoo has a series of columns this week selecting the best players from every class by position. I disagree with him totally as he doesn’t even have JM Mcadoo on his alll sophmore team. So instead of gettin pissed at him, i figured we could do better.

This is the all senior team, Nominate up to 5 players, one at each position or the best 5 or anyway you like, but no more than 5. I will tally up and post results.

    Here is Yahoos Version.

G-C.J. McCollum-His notoriety blew up after the Duke game, but he was a really good, consistent scorer, and he has my preseason vote to lead the country in scoring.
G-Michael Snaer-His production finally started to match his production last season. He’s a great perimeter defender with a continually improving offensive game. Has also showed big time clutch ability with multiple game winning shots.
F-Robert Covington-One of my small school players to watch for next season. His numbers are very good, albeit against lower competition. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see his 18 and 8 to become 20 and 10 next year.
F-Christian Watford-Had a good season last year at Indiana. His numbers aren’t anything exceptional at 13 and 6, but those numbers sill probably increase this season, and he provides veteran leadership to arguably the best team in the nation for next season. Also showed clutch ability with his game winner over UK.
C-Jeff Withey-Had a breakout performance over the tournament, swatting shots left and right. His offensive game could stand for some improvement, and I think it will improve over the offseason.
