Contracts don’t match.  Hornets would be reciveiving too much salary.

Where’s the 4.1m TE coming from?

Because this deal cannot happen. The Bulls will not take on more $ with DRose ext coming soon/NO maybe contracted this year & they are buyers, looking to add quality players around CP so they can advance to Con Finals + they have 1 on the easiest 2nd half schedules similiar to their 2007 run to Con Finals.

What about it DC, Bulls are trying to win now not 2012, 2013. They have the 3rd best team in the league. Why do they need Okafor and Smith over Deng ad Noah. Id say deng is a way better 3 aurd then Smith, and honestly Okafor would be perfect for Chicagos system, but then again so is Noah. They wont offer Noah for Anthony, why would they for Okafor.

sorry but this not gonna happen in any way. the bulls are looking to improve and although emeka okafor would be good in the system (seeing as how his strongest point is his defense), noah is younger and a better fit for chicago with the kind of tenacity he plays with. he gives 110% every game and thats why the bulls like him. and even though deng isnt performing the best this season, they still wouldn’t trade him for someone like J.R. just to get some scoring to go with rose. their focus is on defense, rose runs the offense and does so very well. they dont want another player coming in taking shots away from rose.

Okay so let me get this straight, The bulls trade Noah and Deng for a shooting guard that rarely starts with his current team is streaky has attitude problems, and a center that is smaller than Noah, and doesn’t have near as much impact as Noah? (But still bigger impact than Asik) Wow, the Bulls are more stupid than I thought.

Okafor is a top 5 candidate for defensive player of the year (according to ESPN). So unless the Bulls are keeping Noah, then Okafor has to start, otherwise the Bulls get killed on the inside.

The Bulls give up Deng, Noah and Johnson .. and get back a pu-pu platter of Okafor, Smith, and a pick.

Like OhCanada said, they won’t give up Noah for Melo, they are not doing it for that trade.
