Bmore_DCParticipantWith the Hornets being sold to the Saints owner, it looks like they are staying put in NOLA. Also it looks like the Kings are swearing they will stay in Sac-Town…so my question is, who is the next team to move? Is it the Bobcats? Bucks? Who do you think?

FearTheStacheParticipantI’ve always wanted a team to move to Connecticut. Through UConn, we have shown that we can be a huge basketbal area. We just need a team to support.

Kinguy11ParticipantIF a team moves, I’ll be putting my money on the bobcats. But I don’t think a team will be moving in the near future to be honest.

Lotto StudParticipantI would damn sure hope it be the Nets, so I can stop hearing about us going to Brooklyn every year.

Charlie SheenParticipantI doubt the Bobcats move with Jordan at the helm
How about the Kings who’s deal fell through and could be going the Anaheim
I’d also love a team in Connecticut, they seem to love UConn and they have a lot of money to work with, the Indians own so much land in Northern CT

FearTheStacheParticipantI think it would be smarter to have it in the Hartford area. Not many people live in the casino/reservation areas, although mohegn sun and foxwoods could both be used as alternate arenas.

M.GarveyParticipantNBA needs to get rid of 3-5 teams, but if not, move Sac to Seattle

Jlv2012The Maloofs word is thinner than their team payroll. Until there is written proof that there intention is to stay, I would put the Kings as the next team on the moving block.

I live in UConn too man, and no NBA team would ever come here. Once UConn is out of session the towns population litteraly cuts in half. Businesses can’t even stay open, and the only thing around here is an Applebees and McDonalds. The only reason UConn does so well with its fans is because it’s the only thing to do around here if you live on campus…Also most people in CT are all for New York. Most people who would go to the games work and are from New York. Even though CT is considered one of the richest states, the difference in the classes is just rediculous. Take away towns like Glastonberry and Fairfield, and who in CT could even afford to go to games?

FearTheStacheParticipantIf it were in Hartford area, people would go. Storrs is a college town. Obviously, no one would go to other games there because it is just UConn. XL center sells out every time UConn comes, and I know so many people who go to almost every game. Now, imagine if we had an NBA squad there. I think a lot of people would go. Plus, Hartford is in like the center of CT, so it would be equal range for most people. We did have the whalers for a little bit

torontoraptors10ParticipantI heard a lot of the owners are against the Kings moving to Anaheim because it will give LA three teams in that region. I heard Kansas City and Seattle are viable options.

aamir543Participant@McGarvey, the NBA doesn’t need to get rid of teams, the talent pool is a pretty deep. However if 3-4 teams were contrcted, it may not make a huge difference, but the league would be even more entertaining. Each of the bottom four teams have some valuable vets, although I don’t think contraction is the answer, it would certainly make for even more entertaining ball.

qDizzle32ParticipantWhy would the Bobcats move if they just got that new arena?

kngojcParticipantA second Chicago team? That’d be pretty dope no doubt. But I wanna see a team back in Seatle with the old Supersonics logo. Anyone remember the days of Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis on that team?
