I’m watching this game against miami and I’m wondering if any of these guys for clemson are NBA players.

I specifically wonder about Jerai Grant and Demontez Stitt.

do you guys think either of these two could make an NBA roster?

yes, i do. I really like DeMontez Stitt as a prospect, he is crafty off the dribble, has nice athleticism, a nice jumper, and uses the pick and roll very effectively. Jerai Grant is a nice prospect too because of his athletic ability, his shot blocking, and he is quite capable offensively too. I have to say i think Stitt might have a better chance than Grant though. But i really like both, and Clemson is a dangerous team if they get in the tournament.

Seen a ton of both of them. No way for either. Stitt is a 6’2 shooting guard that doesn’t shoot that well. Grant doesn’t bring anything to an NBA table. Nice ACC players but I dont see either ever making a roster.

The one guy on that team that has nba potential is Milton Jennings, but he is way off right now. He has really good measurables for a 3 in the league and looks the part, but he doesn’t have much of a floor game to speak of, and bad shot selection.

Stitt reminds me of Donald Sloan. He will get looks and have chances to make a team because he defends, has decent size, can create in the pick and roll, and because he’s a solid athlete. He’s not a pure playmaker, but he’s a decent scorer and he’s not a typical combo guard.

Jennings has good size and nice athleticism, but he’s not a great shooter or shot creator, and he really has a long ways to go before he possesses NBA skills. He’s mostly a physically talented player with REALLY raw skills.

Jerai Grant is athletic, but he needs strength and to refine his offensive skills. He’s like a poor mans version of Jordan Hill, and that isn’t really the type of player that’ll last long in the NBA.

When I watch Clemson games, I don’t see anyone there whose NBA level. Grant is bouncy and explosive, but you need more than that at the NBA level. Jennings isn’t even great at the college level, so he’s clearly not at a level yet where he can be considered a legit prospect. Does Stitt do anything well enough at an NBA level? He’s nice defensively, but he doesn’t seem to be the best shooter, a good but not overwhelming athlete, a decent but not great playmaker, and someone with nice scoring instincts but not an overwhelming scorer. He seems like he’s one of those guys who will always be maybe on the fringe, but I don’t see him fitting a role as anything but a 4th or 5th guard in the NBA at his potential peak.
