OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantReally tough choice, but I’d pick the Final Four.

llperezI would probably take the Finals as well, especially since my Lakers have a good chance of playing. But the first week of March Madness between selection Sunday, entering office pools, filling out brackets and then seeing who is gonna get upset is my favorite sports week of the year. Watching Cal State Northridge give Memphis all it could handle for 40 minutes last March is the kinda stuff that makes the tournament so exciting.

D HampParticipantMarch Madness!!! It’s one month of college kids playing their hearts out. For most of them, this will be the highlight of their LIFE. It’s THE chance to impress their family, friends and even themselves. Remember the classic commercial: “99 pecent of college athletes are going pro in some else other than sports!”
Dhamp…the greatest basketball mind in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

marcusfizer21ParticipantI know someone will mention IF the Spurs are in the Finals… good work chandler!LOL!!!!
It really depends upon who’s who in the Finals… If it’s the Spurs, forget it, they make me sleep faster than a sleeping pill.
Any NBA team would do as long as it’s not them…D Hamp, you’re right… March Madness is all about the kids’ pride and future whether or not it’s in basketball… It’s fun to watch these kids play with all their heart. Plus, the upsets and unexpected finishes are what the March Madness is all about… You never expect teams like Davidson to take it as far as they can or the Villanova to make it to the Final Four but they did… That’s what’s cool about the Madness…^^

R-Dot-13ParticipantI love watching march madness..
D Hamp had it perfect.0 - Posted on: Sun, 08/23/2009 - 2:40pm #204971

llperezI like watching the upsets early in the tournament. Then, later on you get to see the best go at it. But as a Laker fan, there is a certain amount of bragging rights that goes with eliminating other teams in the nba playoffs. Plus, it’s where greatness happens.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThat’s probably the best post you’ve made D Hamp. I agree with you 100%. I’m going with the Final Four.

j1232eParticipantI have been to both. Final Four to me was more of a party atmosphere. The NBA finals gave me goosebumps. This is to close to call, any would be just fine for me.
