Jennings – If this guy can shoot over 45% (he shot under 40), he will not only be easily averaging 7-8 assists, but 20 or more points.. Add that in with crazy handles…..

Reke – Has superstar type potential, maybe even franchise changer potential. He’s LBJ at guard, he just needs a jump shot

Randolph is a good rebounder, I think he can average 10, he has a lot of length and athleticism and in Golden State that can get you 12 ppg and with a little bit of actual skill 20 wouldn’t be that hard. He is a good ball handler and has good court sense so 5 assists per game isn’t out of the equation. And with his length he could kinda easily get 2 blocks per game and 2 steals per game (especially in Golden State’s run and gun system).

i repspect odom, but randolph has work to do to get to odoms level and odom is far from a hall of famer. I think you have to realize that once guys start developing and putting up numbers, teams adjust to them and find ways to take them out of the game. Thats when you seperate hall of famers from the pack becasue a hall of famer wont let you stop him from getting his. You ready to say randolph can get 20 and 10 when teams are locking in on him? Im not. His jumpers broke and he doesnt have elite post skills. He basically gets points off transition and broken playes. Thats not the recipe for a hall of famer.

look at his games with starter minutes, he is ready to play its just a matter of nellie not being insane. His jumper is far far from broke, in fact its pretty good (where r u getting this?) his post skills will come with added muscle (his rookie year he was 197, now he is 235… it will get there). and you really dont know how he gets points…… thats a dumb assumption he gets his points only off fast breaks and broken plays… he is good in isos and pick and rolls and back door cuts.

Randolph Definately has Hall of Fame Potential. right now he is simmilar to a 1996 1997 KG. if he got drafted to almost any other team he would be putting up close to 20/10/5/2 but for some reason nellie and D’Antoni went to the same school on how to coach.

Things they learnt there include.
1. Run as fast and as much as possible
2. defense is optional and not to be encouraged
3. Never develop young Players. because they miss too many shots, or Don’t play acceptable defense.

THen they took different streams. for Player development, nelson took the “mess with their minuites so the will work harder” strategy With the Advanced ” don’t teach them anything truly useful so when they go together teams they will suck and make you look better. Until they Adjust to a new system

nateoak, being ready to play and being a future hall of famer and one of the greatest players in the game are 2 very different things. I never said he couldnt play. His jumper is far from broke? Maybe we saw 2 differnt players shooting jumpers last year. I saw a wack jumper that was anything but reliable. He has shot 11% from three in his career and for a forward who prides himself on taking guys outside, thats not good. His mechanics need work. Can he do it? Sure. But please dont act like that jumper is good right now, cause it aint.

He’s getting points off one on one plays and pick and rolls on the regualr? Not from what I saw. He gets points off defenders lacking to focus on him and he catches them sleeping and he uses his speed to get by them. Nothing about him at this point says get out of my way im gonna take the ball and go get mine. Keep in mind i also pointed how he will translate as a scorer once he becomes a 20ppg guy like someone else proposed. Defenses arent locking in on him because neither he nor the warriors are a big threat. If you want to make the hall of fame, you have to make defenders adjust to you by consistently putting numbers.

He’s a well rounded stat filler. He’s basically Lamar Odom version 2.0, except unproven. Keep in mind lamar averaged 15+ for many seasons when getting starters minutes. Is Lamar going to the hall of fame? Dont see what makes randolph so much better then lamar at this same stage in their career.

If Chris Bosh leaves and Demar (Kid Dynamite) Derozan gains a solid jumpshiot from NBA 3 this could be your Most Improved Player. His athletisism is off the charts, he has a wicked first step and can score in traffic. Look for his playmaking abillities to come in play soon as well as his defensive abillities.

I think those Randolph numbers are a little inflated. The Golden State system is pretty crazy, yes, but no one averaged over 8 rpg in that system last year and altough Randolp has great length, 10 rpg for a guy who weighs 210 pounds, I have my doubts. That being said I agree he has great potential, but 20, 10, 5, seems a little enflated, especially since his career assist average is 0.9.

For real though, Anthony Randolph, Rod Beabeuious <— no idea how to spell least name, Nicolas Batum <— he may not put up huge numbers this year in Portland, but this kid is a multi-talented SF who is a lock down defender. I think Batum will take a few steps forward this year.

Randolph may be a bit skinny but he is a legit 6’11. Right now his body type is probably somewhere between Channing Frye and Amare. Randolph came into the League verry raw. then nelson decided to mess with his minutes, and not let him develop. The Possible 20/10/2 numbers come from going to a team that better understands how to use and develop him

Earl Clark. Physically gifted with a skill-set much like Randolph’s, except he’s more unselfish and less aggressive right now.

Terrence Williams. Another Louisville guy who has potential. Can do a little of everything, except for shoot. He reminds me of Andre Iguodala, so of course he’s my next favorite player.

George Hill. He’s very athletic, long, and quick and he’s also a good shooter to really put pressure on the D. If he can show at least average playmaking ability and lay D like his physical ability suggests (he’s shown signs of it), he’ll be well on his way to an All-Star level career.

I hated Kevin Love coming into the draft (I have a serious vendetta against white bigmen) but dam has he impressed me in what I have seen. He could seriously thrive in that Minnesota offense while holding his own on the defensive side of the ball. 16 11 5 isn’t out of the question.

I’m assuming this is disregarding the obvious like John Wall, D-Rose etc. If that is the case then Danilo Gallinari has huge potential. He has the will and attitude to dominate a game, if he continues to develop he could be a franchise player. The dude matched Melo shot-for-shot last season and got in his face about it. That type of competitive fire will get you somewhere. He needs to be able to play SF though, because he isn’t a PF.

I agree 1000% with you on Jennings’ potential, but I doubt he’ll ever shoot 45+ percent from the field. He doesn’t take the ball to the hoop nearly as often as someone with his speed and leaping ability should; when he does, it usually results in a floater or a pass. Added bulk would obviously help him, but I don’t know how much of a risk it would be. He doesn’t appear to have the frame to add much more muscle; if he does add, say, 10 pounds of muscle, then it could take away from his speed and quickness.

DeAndre Jordan – Unfortunately he has no Basketball IQ and still doesn’t show a flash of a post game.
Ricky Rubio – Not in the NBA yet, but the kids intelligence and vision are off the charts.
Serge Ibaka – Amazing Athleticism combined with a soft touch and aggression make him one to look out for.
George Hill – His intensity, shooting touch, and quickness can get him to be a solid #2 option on a contending team in the future.
