-Marreese Speights is on the verge of getting significant PT and Ed Stefanski is impressed by him. Andre Iguodala compared some of his physical tools and skills to Amare Stoudemire’s.:
“He’s a big, goofy guy. I don’t think he knows how good he really is yet. “I kind of compare him to Amar’e [Stoudemire]. Not as powerful, dunking on guys, but they both can step outside and make a shot and you can throw lobs to them. And i dont think you “deserve” all-star money if your not an all-star..but Rajon Rondo doesnt deserve anything near “all-star money” if you ask me…hes good, but what hes surrounded by makes him look alot better

If Speights continues to develop to the point of being
a KG type floor spacer and able to get to the foul line consistently
THEN u can replace Brand with a garbageman defender
and rebounder like Okafor or a Diogu.
A Kendrick Perkins type player would fit perfect in Philly but only
if Speights can excel with more touches
I haven’t watched Speights recently but from what I’ve seen and heard I do think he has what it takes
to be an explosive scorer

both boston and gay are smart not to make offers yet..its very good business because why over pay before seeing what the market is for them..say they offer 12million a year but if they tested the market teams only offered them 9-10 million a year..as far as players around rondo making him look better..im pretty sure he destroyed that notion when he was dominating in the playoffs while ray was struggling and paul was hurting a bit..you dont put up numbers like he did because others make you look better

Unless they’re playing like Chris Paul and Kevin Durant, they don’t deserve it yet… The only reason why Rondo smelled so good is because of the talent that surrounds Boston… Rudy Gay has yet shown the “killer” instinct and the consistency to carry the Grizz to consecutive wins… Much like I said about Luol Deng, he is a pretty good player but he doesn’t deserve the $71 Million dollars given to him by the Bulls…

Good for LaMarcus for getting an extension… I think he can be a big factor coming into this season… Let’s just hope he doesn’t turn into a dud after signing a big contract (which most players do!)

Marreese Speights is such an intriguing prospect in my opinion… I think he can be a better version of Juwan Howard when its all said and done… And Andre was right in calling Amar’e a subpar defender though everyone knows he has the tools to be a great defender… The same exact thing in my mind…^^

i think gay and rondo deserves at least what lamarcus got..hes also hasnt shown that killer instinct and he probably never will..although hes very skilled he doesnt have that go hard in him
