It is not even the midseason point yet, though All-Star weekend is rapidly approaching. So, we decided this week on Viseland to look at awards, All-NBA teams and All-Rookie team predictions. We also went over the McDonald’s All-Americans and NBA All-Star selections, mentioning some players who almost made the cut and nailing the Devin Booker injury replacement for Anthony Davis.

Who did you guys feel was a snub for the All-Star game? Also, if you do feel there was a snub, who would you take off the team and replace them with? Also, who are your NBA award favorites? It seems like Utah has a hold on at least a few awards if you were a bettor. MVP is going to be a battle, feel a couple players are out in front right now, along with a player who is pretty consistently in the thick of things.

Also, in terms of the McDonald’s All-American selections, did you feel there was a player who should have made the team that got left off? I was surprised Matthew Cleveland and TyTy Washington were not selected. I would have a hard time removing two players from those who were honored, but definitely feel at least one deserved to be in the game over UW commit Jackson Grant. Was really too bad there was limited spring and summer ball, I think that really made it difficult for some players to climb the rankings and fight for a McDonald’s spot.
