     Just saw an ESPN update saying that Silver is looking into potentially adding a ten point half court shot. This has to be a joke, they could easily turn some games into an ASG level circus. I can see maybe pushing out a four point shot but not ten.

    Another thought was having players pick asg teams school yard style like the Pro Bowl did with the Rice an Irvin teams( and that helped the pro bowl so much). How about making it a money incentive for charity which I’ve heard before.

    Thoughts on these brainstorming ideas?

     What if they put in a 4 point line at 28.5 feet but got rid of the 3 point line? Give GREAT long-distance shooters something to do while dissuading teams from jacking up so many 23 foot shots.  This would also eliminate the annoying "corner 3" and maybe help bring back low post scoring and the baseline jumper.

      Besides the trade proposal.  Thought this idea would create more points in the paint and value to the two pointer.  The Three point shot should be a streak shot or a bail out shot anyways.

    Well that’s stupid.  Defeats the purpose of dominating the whole game and leading by 9 if someone jacks up a lucky shot.

    But yeah this sounds ridiculous and Adam Silver is not that stupid.  I tried googling it and nothing came up.  Any links?

     That’s my bad I thought the ten point play in the last minute was separate from the ASG idea and glad it was a joke. Either way another gimmicky horrible idea. People just wanna see real basketball and not the garbage from last few years then throw in some deep 4 points and half court prayers.

    Silver was just throwing out ideas. Give the man credit for trying to come up w/ something because this seasons All-Star weekend was HORRIBLE. 

    If you have better ideas, feel free to e-mail him. Based on his interview, he’s open to ideas from fans, etc.

     $1 million bonus to every player on winning team, $100K fine to every player on losing team.
