natedogggParticipantThese may have been done before and is a really random hypothetical.
But Which legend in their prime would be a perfect fit for their current teams?
A few easy ones, feel free to add more.
Bulls – Michael Jordan – this is too obvious but they do need an upgrade at SG
Knicks – Patrick Ewing – who better to fill their hole at C
Lakers – Magic Johnson – they need to upgrade at the PG
Pacers – Reggie Miller – SG has been an issue for them
i realize its silly but its fun to imagine. add some more.

I May Be WrongParticipantDalen Qualls – Greatest basketball legend according to himself.
JUST KIDDIN!
Rockets – Hakeem would lead that team of the perfect role players they have to a deep run and probably win a few MVPs on the way

natedogggParticipanti love the hakeem on the rockets one. that roster built around him would be great.
the payton and garnett ones dont really count tho cuz they teams dont have a glaring hole at those positons,
although it would obviously be an upgrade.

JaeEvolutionParticipantDikembe Mutombo on the Hawks. Al Horford has been complaining about playing the 4 so we put him there and put one of the best shot blockers and rim protectors in the front court with Al and Josh Smith.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantA couple others:
Suns: Charles Barkley; Phoenix was a contender with Amare think how good they would be with Chuck who was a far better rebounder and passer than Amare as well as just as difficult to guard in the post.
76ers: Moses Malone; this rag tag team of defenders managed to over achieve and make the playoffs despite 2 very large deficincies, a go to scorer and a legit starting center. Malone would give them both and in a huge way.
Heat: Alonzo Mourning; maybe it’s a bit of a stretch to call him a legend but Mourning was a terrific player, an annual all-star and defensive force until illness took its course on his body. Zo would be a perfect fit on the Heat, a dominant interior defender that can run the floor, score in the paint, rebound and provide the kind of warrior mentality that would rub off on all his teammates.

TRC1991ParticipantI think Tim Hardaway on the Heat would be nice
Also Alex English would be great for Denver since smith and afflalo are free agents

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantNuggets – David Thompson (minus the drug problems would have been a legend) They need a scorer and go to guy and he was fun to watch.
Warriors – Wilt if it counts (Philadelphia as the city but warriors was the nickname.
Really i wish we had tapes of an old amazing nba season to act as if it were the real season during the lockout. It would seem real if it were before I were born and hadn’t seen it.

theEDGEParticipantBlazers- Clyde Drexler, With Roy’s future in limbo they could use an upgrade at SG.
Cavaliers- Brad Daugherty, The one without the back issues could be their franchise player.
Hawks- Darrin "Mookie" Blaylock, Could run the offense until Teague is ready.
Nets- Jayson Williams, rebounding machine could help out Lopez big time.
Nuggets- Dikembe Mutombo, with Nene likely to go elsewhere who better to hold down the inside.
Magic- Shaquille O’Neal, imagine Howard at 4 and Shaq at 5 this would be to much for the rest.
Kings- Chris Webber, Kings need upgrade at 4 and Webber is that upgrade.
Lakers- Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, reliable than Bynum and a double-double guy.
Wizards- Elvin Hayes, high scoring high rebound PF much better than Blatche.
