Do anyone know why the NBA won’t upgrade their League Pass service? The league pass could be great, but it is such a waste of money, if you ask me. The quality is trash and all the mistakes to go along with it is trash. I know they don’t have to fix it because people will still buy the product, but man, thie league pass is horrible. It’s even more trash when you have Comcast and there’s only one HD channel that you can watch it on. I want to watch games where quality is like a NBA TNT game or a ESPN game. I don’t want to watch games when the quality is so 2005, at best.

Anyone know why it is like this? Are they trying the get the league pass better?

Its a money grab first and foremost, secondly no advertising money coming in on NBA League Pass so they can’t afford to pay for an upscale on pregame shows etc etc.. So the result is a bare bones presentation.

I think the quality of the games is a lot better on the computer stream you get with the subscription. Of course this is not on your tv screen where you want it but yeah, that an option for better quality visuals. The sd on the broadcasted games is definitely a terrible watch tho

I used to get League Pass every year, but a couple years ago I went almost a whole season of not being able to watch any games at all. It would just always say something like this game is unavailable in your area. On the off chance it was available it was horrible quality, you can find equally crappy quality for free elsewhere online.

I did however get a full refund after I griped about only being able to watch about 5% of the entire season despite trying almost daily (this was on PC by the way). I’d never had any issues the couple years I owned it before that, so it’s like they downgraded instead of upgraded.

Regardless, there are a lot of horror stories about League Pass online, some worse than mine. I pretty much refuse to give them money again at this point unless they finally decide to upgrade their system.
