1.Allen Iverson— one of the greatest scorers ever , single handedly carried the 76ers to the finals and were the first to beat the Lakers and deny their unbeaten playoffs with a 48 and a clutch shot over Lue to seal the victory

2.Tim Duncan— he’s one of the best powerforwards ever , maybe the best

3.Shaq,— he’s one of the most dominant players ever

    4.LeBron —-, come on he’s already got a spot

    5.Kobe—-81, 62 in 3 quarters, 4 championships etc.

    6.Steve Nash—-one of the greatest playmakers, 2 MVP’s

7.KG— “the kid” one of the greatest, most intense players ever

    Possibilities
    T-Mac(5%)Yao(75%)Dirk(60%)Allen(25%)D-Wade(90%)Carmelo(40%)Durant(5%)Rose(5%)
    IMO

    any others?

Jason Kidd will likely make the hall of fame and I think that if Carter can get a ring in Orlando you have to consider him for this list. Other players that have outside shots of making it are Billups, Paul Pierce, and even Michael Redd.

I think Ray Allen has better than a 25% chance…. he has a ring… and is arguably the best shooter of all time

In the history on the nba a player has scored 60 or more in a single 62 times and kobe has 5 which is tied with MIKE and all MIKE’s 5 except for ONE was in overtime or DOUBLE OVERTIME and none of KOBE’s were in overtime and THROW the 81 game in thats makes him the 2nd best REGULATION game scorer in the HISTORY of the league

I don’t think he will get in but I think he’ll at least get consideration. In his prime he was one of the best NBA players ever.

I think everyone on your list including the candidates will be in. Here are a few more possibilities:

    Dikimbe Mutombo
    Phil Jackson
    Brandon Roy

I think Grant falls under the penny Hardaway / Tracy McGrady types of players that were great but nvr won a ring, had alot of injuries and that untimately dont make it

60% isn’t bad for Dirk, but c’mon the guy won a MVP trophy and was one half away from being up 3-0 and possibly winning a championship.

Every player that has won a MVP trophy (and is HOF eligible) is in the HOF. Therefore, Dirk is a lock, as is Nash, Malone, O’Neal, Iverson, Duncan, Garnett, Kobe, and LeBron.

So Dirk should be on your list of players that are locks for the HOF.

Is Chad Ochocinco a lock for the NFL HOF? He already has his jacket.

I know he hasn’t done anything really spectacular on court but he revolutionized basketball for his home country China. He paved the way for Chinese hopefuls to keep dreaming and to have faith that they do has a chance toake it in the league. No I am not chinese that is just IMO

I don’t see Billups even having a shot at the HOF. He was an excellent point guard in the NBA, but his numbers aren’t that spectacular.
