sheltwon3ParticipantI am new to the whole fantasy thing. I am losing to the guy I am competing against because the players he chose has played more games. I mean I can not control the scheduling. The way things are going if we had equal game I would be ahead because I am -10 games behind him and I am still close in some stats.

delfamParticipantread this if it’s a H2H league, and the games will average out eventually, don’t worry

TC_42ParticipantAre you making sure that you’re putting every player who has a game into your "starting lineup" for that day?

delfamParticipantif it’s daily setting like TC42 said make sure you set your lineup every day, if you have to set one lineup for the whole week you have to take in consideration how many games a guy plays and sometimes sit the better player if he only plays 2 games and the other guy plays 4.

sheltwon3ParticipantI am not punting any categories. I am just down because dude has played 59 total games to my 49 total games. I need to really look at the schedule more plus the Knicks canceling that game hurt me as well but hopefully in the make up Douglas puts on another good game.

sheltwon3ParticipantI am still winning in 2 almost 3 categories and I am like only 10 off of two other categories which I should have when these games even out.

sheltwon3ParticipantI did not fully understand what I was doing and now I do so I may be able to come back and win this match up but if not best believe the next match up will be mine.

delfamParticipanthe need to punt if you want a legitimate chance to win. If someone punts say 2 or even 3 categories they’ll be extremely stacked in those other 6 categories so they’ll wine very week 6-3 in a 9cat league. If you don’t punt all your categories will be balanced but going up agaisnt a punter he can afford to lose those 3 categories to you cause he’ll win the other 6.

llperezsheltwon, you have left guys on your bench who had games while playing guys who had the day off. You just got to make sure you make subs daily and start as many as you can. RGiller has a solid squad though so not a lot of shame in trailing him, so im sure you will bounce back in future weeks.

OhCanada-ParticipantI feel you sheltwon, I have Gasol, Howard, and Beasley on my team so Ive been dealing with injuries and silly rescheduled games all week. Not only that but the guy Im playing has Durant and Green and my best player (IMO) Wesrbrook is getting slaughtered by them and nuetralized whenever OKC plays. Also it is in a fantasy points format so its not assorted cats. The matchup is tied so far and im lucky enough to say that.

SwatLakeCityParticipantI have a tough decision to make I have both Mayo and Eric Gordon but no legitamate SF that can start. (All the 3’s I have are Budinger, CJ Miles and Dunleavy) Should I trade Mayo or Gordon for a legitamate starting 3 or just wait till next year’s draft and make sure to draft one of the myriad of 3’s that are there. (Like Barnes, Terrance, or Perry Jones, Singler, Honeycutt etc..) A starting lineup of Felton, Mayo/Gordon, Barnes or Terrance Jones, Brand, and Horford is pretty darn good, but who knows if that will actually end up happening.
I am in a Keeper’s league so that is why I could probably draft a starting 3 next year and still stick with the current team I have.

OhCanada-ParticipantLOL you should be looking to trade all the time. Any trade that can better your team should be accepted and you can always find ways to better your team.

delfamParticipantit really depends what kind of league it is(H2H or Roto), but C.J. Miles has looked pretty good the last couple games so I’d roll with him.
