In a 12 team head 2 head format and looking to make a change at possibly 2 positions.

Gerald Green is my SG. i took him late requireing a 3pt shooter, but am curious if he can put up the numbers he did last season. If I drop him I am between Alec Burkes or Tim Hardaway Jr.

Also as a second center i took Channing Frye late, again to help with the 3’s, but hes hurt, with no real timetable for return. I know im not going to get another shooting center so im between John Henson for his solid rebounding numbers, or maybe taking a chance on Plumlee. I feel Henson might be the better pick because Plumlee’s minutes will most likely depend on Brook Lopez and his injuries.

Any ideas or other suggestions for these roster moves?

I also have Randy Foye, who is another possible drop.

Henson is a sure thing for at least the numbers he put up last year. He will consistantly give at least 10-ppg, 7-rpg, 1.5-apg, 0.5-spg and 1.5-bpg. Im very high on Henson though and believe he could easily get 15-ppg, 10-rpg, 2-apg, 1-spg, 2.0-bpg if given 32-mpg.

If you want upside go with Plumlee. His potential is through the roof and Hollins the Nets new coach loves playing a slow game through the post. Only problem is he will be buried on the bench but at the same time Lopez and Garnett will be injured. If the Nets are losing early I see Lopez being traded in favor of Plumlee. I know it sounds crazy but I could see Plumlee put up 17-ppg, 10-rpg, 2-apg, and 1.5-bpg effieciently if given the role.

Dont even bother with Frye imo he will be injured Magic bought him for veteran leadership and he will not consistantly produce imo unless he stays healthy and the  Magic stay competetive. With Harkles, Harris, Gordon, O’quinn, Vucevic, and Nicholson in the frontcourt on a rebuilding team I just dont see Frye producing like years past.

If you need 3’s look for Kelly Olynyk he should break out this year and drop a three per game with 12-14 points. He is a huge sleeper.

As far as 3’s from a SG you have plenty of options. Burks wont rack it up from long range so thats out of the question.

Green surprises every year so he is not a bad option and he was among league leaders but with the depth in Phoenix abd him on I believe on a contract year he might not get the minutes he wants. I would predict a healthy Bledsoe the addition of Thomas and Warren should eat some of his minutes and at best he duplicates next years performance.

Hardaway is an excellent option. He could easily break out for 18-ppg and somewhere from 1.5-2 3’spg. Your only getting points and 3’s from him though.

Overall I would personally suggest you go with Henson up front as hr will be consistant with minytes and not surprise you. Also at the end of the year Milwaukee shouldnt be competing for a playoff spot so his production will spike heavily as they try to give their young core more minutes.

At SG I would go with KCP above all options. I truly thinj under SVG and with Meeks out early he wull assert himself as one of the league leaders from 3 and still produce with rwbounds and lots of steals.

    Hope that helps.

      Huge help. Thanks

My only fear with KCP is the lack of update on his injury.

Also, whats your take a Foye with the nuggets this season, think he comes close to matching last season with Affalo and Galo back?

Is Randle for Plumlee worth the risk? I am starting to think it might be.

What you think about Foye? think he is going to get burried on the bench behind Affalo and Galo. i know its preseason, but hes still getting minutes, and his numbers from last year are great.

Foye doesnt have the upside of KCP, Hardaway, Burks or Green in my opinion with Afflalo, Harris, Green and Robinson in town and with Galinari healthy you could even see Chandler eat up minutes at SG. Too much depth there.

KCP will suit up in the opener I believe.

Lakers have a four man frontcourt with Boozer, Randle, Hill, and Davis. I doubt Randle will ever be played at Center and Boozer will get minutes because the Lakers have to justify their ticket price by marketing Boozer as an attempt to compete. With that being said lets say Randle gets a qaurter of the frontcourt minutes 24-mpg which is a fair assumption. It would be optimistic to expect 10-ppg, 8-rpg but I wouldnt expect anything but rebounds and points.

Randle will get his time to shine because Boozer will get injured but he will likely be limited totwo categories points and boards where as Plumlee can contribute a bit more all around and has more injury prone players with KG and Lopez. I also think Plumlee has surpassed KG by now it would be stupid to have Garnett start ahead of him.

Also Plumlee gives you two positions. I maybe wrong but Id go with Plumlee. Just be sure about it because someone else will likely scoop up Randle eventuallyhe is not a bad look at PF.
