he_gets_bucketsParticipantI really think Skal will either make a GM look ridiculously smart or ridiculously dumb- theres no inbetween. Either he develops into a stud, is a still in the late lottery and a GM gets praised, or he burns out Anthony Randolph style and people are left scratching their head at how someone could have spent a lottery pick on him. I honestly can’t see his career going any other way then those 2 extremes.

morestealsthanscoresParticipantI’d put ellenson and baldwin in tier 4, sabonis in tier 3, and mccaw in tier 4. Other than that, i like! 🙂

roni3ParticipantI think A ton of people are underrating Jaylen Brown, this kid has more potential than anyone outside of th top two not to mention he is an athletic freak, who can get to the rim at will, NBA body and huge defensive upside. In the right setting he could develop similar to how Kawhi Leonard, Jimmy Butler and Paul George developed (not saying he will be as good as them, but can grown in the same way they can). People keep saying his shot is broken, but forget to mention that your shot can be improved especially in the NBA and having access to assistant coaches and other people who can help him with that. Kawhi’s wasn’t a great percentage shooter from anywhere in the perimeter in college but boy look at him now. I just hope this kid Brown gets drafted by a team that’s stable and can develop him, so SAC if your listening don’t screw up this kids career like you did Tyreke Evans.

SlickBouncePassParticipantJaylen Brown is not a Paul George or Kawhi Leonard type. Brown is an athletic freak. As much crap as Simmons is getting for failing to take LSU to the NCAA tournament, Brown did nothing to help his team avoid being a 1 and done.
Paul George is a top 6 player in this league, he has an incredible offensive skillset for his size, and Kawhi is a really smart and humble baller with massive hands that has an incredible ball IQ.
All you have to do is watch Hoop Summit Brown’s year and see how he was a non-factor in those games. He doesn’t gel with a team, just like Carmelo can’t fit within the constructs of a team.
He’s not the scorer Carmelo is, but I’d liken his game like Melo’s. Low IQ failure to make others around him better. Thats why I don’t want him. His athleticism is exciting, but there’s no chance he becomes a Paul George or Kawhi, two guys that make otheres around them better.
Tyreke Evans is a Philly guy so I root for him, but he is another LOW IQ baller. All he knows is how to go to the rim, not play within a system, and his game and mind lend him to play that way. Evans’ game is very limited in the NBA, he never worked on any skills other than that gym ball, drive to the hole. No shot, no passing from a guard. I hate how the NBA is full of "athletes", great players are athletes with high IQs and skill which lends to making others around them better, hence, Lebron.

kobyzParticipantIf he improve his shot at best you think he could be more than an al farouq aminu type?

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantYes. I could see him developing into a Caron Butler type of player if he can get his jump shot fixed. They are both similar players as they could get to the rack and score at a young age but their perimeter games came later on in their career

King CaluchaParticipantI like this conversation, but it’s important to mention that there is an "important" distance between tier 1 and tier 2.
