Is there a chance the Cavs can get Derrick Williams at that 4th pick..? Any word on a few sleeper 2nd Rounders that are just now being discussed?

no chance at all Derrick Williams falls to 4. I doubt he’ll fall to 3. This years draft has a clear 1 &2, and then a bunch of questions.

potential 2nd round sleepers I like: Reggie Jackson and Malcom Lee.

wait, if you say 1,2 is a lock, than why am I seeing Kanter being taken by the twolves in mocks? And I believe best case scenario for Cavs is they Irving, T Wolves take Williams, Jazz take Knight, and Kanter falls to them. I am also being told Valanciunas is a possibility at 4 if Kanter and williams are gone.

I think there is a really good chance that Williams falls to 4. I just don’t see the Wolves or Jazz taking him. There is a chance if someone trades up, but if things stay the same he could easily fall to 4.

I wouldnt say their is a clear top two then a bunch of questions, I would say there is a most probable top 4.  Kanter and Knight present too much upside that ultimately overshadows any questions about them.  Had Kanter played this year he couldve been the clearcut #1 guy.

Gentlemen, please. Any mocks that are crediable (here, CNNSI, ESPN, DraftExpress, and Hoops Hype) and all the talk from Chicago last week was Irving and Williams are clearly one and two.

I’d bet a lot of money right now on him going 2nd. With or without the Wolves making the pick.

Yeah the chance of Williams slipping to the 4th pick is near zero.

If the wolves pass on williams the jazz would love to have another DWILL play for them.  Williams wants to play the three  not the four and with the jazz he will have that oppurtunity. I also think the jazz take Kanter and not Knight at three if the wolves pick williams.

People here in Utah do not buy the Brandon Knight hype. Kevin O’Conner says the same thing ever year, "I believe in the Michael Jordan rule… draft the best player available" and considering the fact that this is the 3rd top 10 pick the Jazz have had in the last 28 seasons (true stat), they’re taking the best player available. That’s going to be Kanter or Williams.

So then the T’Wolves would be picking Williams not as a need, but as best available. Eventhough they have a 3 and 4 already. Sounds pretty wise smh. Jazz would seem like they would have a better reason for getting him. Thats an upgrade over Kirilenko, Evans, and Miles. Move one of them out and make room for Williams. T’wolves got Beaseley and he is the starter unless they move him for Williams thats their choice.
