Sports Tears In Our BeersParticipantWe have been thinking about this draft forever it feels like. Irving? Williams? Field…..then Rubio signs, there goes Kyrie. And there are no real rumors that we would send Beasley are K-Love out, so do we need Williams? Yeah, there is the K-Love for Gasol rumor, which some like, even one of our guys, but would that really help?

What do you guys think the Timberwolves should do? Mainly fans outside of MN, we need an unbiased take on this. Tomorrow is D day, do you have the answer as to what they should do?
I really don’t want to lose K-Love in any trade. He is a cornerstone, why throw that away for potential or an old (soft) center in Gasol.

PulseGlazerParticipantIf the right deal doesn’t materialize, bite the bullet and take Kanter. Hire someone like Hakeem or The Admiral to come in and work with him. If you can trade for good enough assets, do that.

Sports Tears In Our BeersParticipantI really wouldn’t mind having Kanter at all. I like his skill set and think he will be a great player in the post, which is rare this day in the NBA.

PulseGlazerParticipantAccording to Chad Ford, Kanter reminders him a lot of Darko, who could have been a superstar if he wanted it, so we’ll see how this works out. If Kanter has heart, having Darko there will push him to not be percieved the same way. Good move, Minn.

Sports Tears In Our BeersParticipantYeah, I started reading that going…yuck. But yes, you would hope it would make Kanter go, "there is no way I’m going to be the next Darko"

PootyTangParticipantWolves are in dire need of a 5, and a Kanter/Love frontcourt would be strong and fundamentally solid, if slow and unathletic. But in a relatively weak draft class, a glaring need for a center, and a team that only won 17 games last year, I think the pluses outweigh the negatives

PulseGlazerParticipantYou don’t need to trade for a Free Agent when you’re under the cap, tubby.
And for the hundreth time – Kanter is white. Kanter is athletic. Whie does not mean unathletic!
