The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantAlso Kobe and Gasol share that MVP nomination…Howard is there…If Houston was winning I’d add Scola…Paul gets his nod…Durant and Westbrook share another Nod…Monte is not an MVP canidate at this point…If he’s a top 5 scorer while getting the Warriors into the playoff’s he’ll be in the discussion along with Curry ( who I feel will have a huge part in a playoff run )

delfamParticipantat his point Durant is to high for me, his bad FG% really hurts his position for me, eventually he’ll rise up to the top with Kobe and Paul but right now Gasol and Howard are playing better than him.

delfamParticipantDurant
26.4ppg, 7.2rpg,1.8apg,1.4spg,.374FG%
Gasol
23.8ppg,11rpg,1.6bpg,.522FG%
no way you can put Durant ahead of Gasol, Gasol is outplaying him, when Bynum comes back Durant probably will pass him but right now he’s not better, especially with that FG%.
1. Kobe 2. Paul 3. Rondo 4. Howard 5. Gasol 6. Durant

llperezdurnat shouldnt be ahead of a few guys. His fg% is awful and last i checked he was averagin over twice as many turnovers as assists. He will get it together and make an mvp run eventually, but right now his ranking is off more hype then performance.

ChrischiParticipantThat is the Race right now. Of course Gasol, Odom and Kidd aren’t in the discussion, but right now they’re putting up monster numbers so they deserve to be in that list.

OhCanada-ParticipantYou cant be on the list with losing records imo so thats why Scola and Rose arent on. It doesnt matter whos on at this point of the season its so early. Ellis should be top 3 thou.

LawDeeZeeParticipantthree lakers? … they’re good, but i don’t think they legitimately have 3 MVP candidates!!!!
… d rose needs to be on that list after these first few games of the season

WrecklessParticipantIts early, but I Must admit Monta Ellis has surprised me this year but to be honest I really dont think he will be in these talks later on in the year.
Kobe also has been putting in work, even though playing a little less minutes, but what do you expect? If the Lakers do real good, i’m talking maybe 65-70 games Kobe is a lock for MVP. Kevin Durant will have his chance even though people thought of him as the early MVP.0 - Posted on: Fri, 11/05/2010 - 1:17pm #428427

durantula83ParticipantToo early to tell, the season is long. Don’t start throwing FG% in each others’ faces this early. In the past I’ve seen players up their FG% with as much as 8% over a period of 25 games in the second half of the season. If your guy misses 20 games this season with an injury it’s over.
