KingPapasParticipantWho do you think is closer to their NBA Comparison Ben Simmons to Lebron James
or Brandon Ingram to Kevin Durant?I tend to Favor Ingram to KD . The way the NBA is going, I don’t see to many successful players without a jump shot. I cant think of one in the last 3 years

BlueRivers25ParticipantIngram reminds me of Tayshaun Prince, more skilled offensively of course. I like his game and he has been a lot better than I ever expected. He is a team player, the ball doesnt stick in his hands, he is a good rebounder, and better than expected defender too. He can continue to develop, but I dont think he will be close to Kevin Durant. He isn’t as explosive as KD, and not sure if he has that take over mentality you need in the NBA to be a Superstar.

Robb_CParticipantI’ve actually said the same thing as well about Ingram, he reminds me a lot of Prince with a better skill set on offense..

Robb_CParticipantHere’s a tidbit of what I wrote on Ingram before the Season.
“Ingram is more Tayshaun Prince than Kevin Durant.. Everyone sees a tall skinny kid now with the size of a forward and ball skills of a guard and hes automatically the next Kevin Durant..Ballislife does it at least once a year”
I guess people still try to stamp Durant comparison on Ingram but its rudimentary, I also see Ben Simmons more as a Lamar Odom type with a better work ethic which sadly isn’t saying much.

DukeDaSquadParticipantYea he isn’t as explosive compared to current Durant but didn’t Durant have one of the worst combines from an athletic standpoint?? He has come a long way athletically. I agree he hasn’t shown he can completely take over a game but he did have that one stretch against Virginia I believe where he hit 8 shots in a row to keep Duke in the game

Hype MachineWhat did everyone make of Adam Zagoria’s comments that Simmons will break Lebron’s record Rookie shoe contract.
Lebron got 90m, Zagoria suggests Simmons is about to get 100m. That number will increase if he lands in LA.
I’d love to know what Lebron’s "lifetime" contract is worth…I’d think close to 500m to 1billion?
