I was thinking about my favorite type of basketball I like to play with while watching an NBA game, and it made me wonder what an NBA ball feels like. Which brought up the question, why don’t they sell the official NBA ball for retail? I’m not saying they would make a ton of money off of it, but the NFL sells "The Duke" that is used in the NFL, so I was wondering if any of you know why the NBA doesn’t sell their official game ball?

I used to have one. Feels a bit weird at first but they get a really nice grip over time and don’t tend to be as slick when you get sweat on the ball. I think they’re like $100 tho. I was always a fan of the old  spalding TF-1000. Those were nice
