    I expected alot more early entries from borderline nba guys that might be looking for careers overseas..I’ve heard of everyone on that college players list except Erik Austin,Geraldo Suero,Avery Scharer & Richard Townsend-Gant…I guess more players are now willing to work on their games before making the jump…

    Peter Roberson a 7 footer from Grambling who might not get drafted,but will get some looks….He runs the floor like a guard,post up and has a decent touch from outside…I can see him playing in the D-League or overseas for 2 years, then making a nba roster…

    That International list mediocre compares to years past…But i expect about 10 foreign rookies to be on nba rosters next year….Alot of those guys might become better,once they come over here,becuz their game translates better to the nba game…

    I can only see 5 international players not withdrawing and staying in the 2012 NBA Draft: Furkan Aldemir, Evan Fournier, Nemanja Nedovic, Tomas Satoransky, and Tornike Shengelia.

     watch out josep franch is a good basketball player and could be a long term project for a franchise willing to let him in europe 3 4 years…

    all in all it’s a weak international  year (towards last year’s strong casting : valanciunas, motiejunas, vesely, biyombo, kanter, bogdanovic, vucevic, mirotic)

    Jonas Bergstedt is a young Danish giant who spent the year in the same Spanish EBA that Lucas Nogueira did last year. It is primarily a league for juniors. I will give him credit for doing a better job of staying on the court than Nogueira did, and also have some range. Last summer, he had a huge U20 showing at the European Championships (22.4 points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists, and 1.8 blocks). While all that is promising, a lot of big kids dominate the junior ranks and just look completely lost when facing adults.

    Furkan Aldemir is a relatively big body who has done big man things. He is tenth in the TBL in rebounding. He’ll probably get taken if he stays in.

    Evan Fournier is a good prospect, and I believe is saying will pull out if he isn’t going to land in the first round, so we’ll see if he is in it come June.

    Abdoulaye Loum couldn’t sniff the floor in France, but is another one of these guys who had a good summer when he was twelve or something like that and has been able to have a reputation that still sticks because of it.

    Joffrey Lauvergne went through the process last year without getting very far with it. Being 6′ 11" and decent will get him those same workouts this year.

    Nika Metreveli is talented enough to get a long term deal from Montepaschi Siena, but not good enough to even get much time with the team Montepaschi loaned him out to.

    Josep Franch is playing in the ACB, but has more turnovers than assists as well as shooting below 37 percent from the field. I think that outweighs the good junior performances.

    Tomas Satoransky has a big rep, but he played better a year ago than he did this season and he wasn’t exactly setting the world on fire back then.

    Tornike Shengelia is a guy who likes to shoot, and other than a pair of nice games against Partizan hasn’t really been great this year in the Euroleague or Ethias.

    On the official LKL site, Mindaugas Kupsas is 211cm (7′ 1") and 93 kg (205 lbs) and is putting in 6.1 PFs per 40 minutes and shooting 44 percent in the Baltic League. It is good to be tall.

     metric system…? 211cm : (7′ 1")…..

    7.1 = 2.15cm …. much more interesting (211 =6.11)

    Erik Austin is some A$$hole who thought entering the draft would be funny.  He played only 8 games in his freshman season in college.
