Is it just me but does this seem like one of the weakest draft in NBA history.
Not a whole lot of can’t-miss picks. Decent balance though. A lot of players with some promise. I think some teams are saying that this is a weak draft in order to cover themselves if they make a bad pick.
Most drafts only have 10 or 15 good players anyway with a couple of all-stars or so. This draft is probably the same. The draft has four good small guards in Irving, Knight, Walker, and Fredette plus some possible hidden gems later on in the draft. There are some big men with upside including a few who will go later in the first round or in the second round. Alec Burks and Kawhi Leonard should be good wing players.
You have to do your homework in this draft. Teams need to draft the best player who will fill a need.
I think it may turn out to be an underrated draft.
