I am not claiming they will be traded for sure, cause a lot of them look like they’ll stay the whole year. **note** – player option means at the end of the season/post season, they may opt out of their contract for 2010-2011. doubledribblerParticipantI like what they have to trade. I think they are a team that won’t mind to add payroll if they think it can get them over the top and win and I think they can turn some of their useless reserves into one or two upgraded players. I can easily see Scalibrine, House and/Tony Allen getting traded along with Bill Walker and/JR Giddens. House being the one they would probably prefer to keep unless maybe they get an upgrade at backup pg. If the Hornets are struggling I could see a possible interest in a guy like Posey. Sure he would be making too much over the rest of his contract, but he can still play and he knows the system already.
I think the majority of teams with expiring deals will probably just let them expire unless it’s a superstar that is already on their team that they are planning on trying to extend.

JNixonParticipantI believe Mike Miller will be moved around the deadline too, for a big man probably.

NYK2010ParticipantJeffrie and Nate together could happen for an expiring contract.
Hughes could esp. if Chandler continues to show improvement.0 - Posted on: Thu, 10/01/2009 - 7:21pm #218368

doubledribblerParticipantThe Knicks are probably going to have to try to unload a lot of guys together (expiring deals with longer contract guys). I would not be surprised to see Lee or Robinson moved in order to get rid of Curry and/or Jeffries. I remember hearing last season that a team was interested in Jeffries. They should have jumped on that. Oh well, I think they should just tank this season for a high pick and make sure that they make Eddie Curry look as good as possible by throwing him the rock frequently. I guess for the sake of the Knick’s fans, I hope they get Lebron because if they don’t and move all these guys for nothing, it’s really going to come back on that organization hard. Does anyone think that they would be willing to move Chandler if it meant getting rid of a large contract?

llperezdouble dribbler, you say the knicks should tank this season for a high pick but Isiah traded their pick to Utah. So they have to waite a few years before they have a first rounder.

TyroberParticipantthey cant win the lebron sweepstakes if they arent entered for it. they got to clear the most cap room possible to even have a chance. they have their 2011 draft pick, but it completely sucks that they are going to miss out on the stacked 2010 class.
