 He has taken it down now, but did any of you see his ignorant comments about the lockout yesterday? On his twitter he said the younger players should get there masters degree instead of playing in the NBA, that they would make more money that way…… REALLY?!?!?! Is this really how the players are thinking? I can’t even comprehend how he can possibly think this. Does he have ANY clue how much regular people make that aren’t being paid millions to play basketball?

 I’m not sure that he was. Half of his twitter is about how bad the deal is for the players and that there is no way they will accept it. He didn’t issue anything saying it was sarastic or a joke. He just took it down, because I am sure he is getting a lot of heat for it.

^Exactly. Who cares about him on a social website. He’s pretty irrelevant in his profession, so I dont know why anyone cares what he has to say on Twitter.

Nazr Mohammed is too old to have a Twitter anyway. That tweet itself is something an old person/parent would say anyway.

he should be more clever, for sure, but one thing really shocked me is he’s never talking about passion in hit twit’. It sounds as if your choices in life are only about money…. very strange. If one team or media decided to hire me, to play or talk about basketball, and pay me 1500$, I would be the happiest people on earth, cause it’s my passion it’s not a work.

he was’nt one hundred percent serious literal wise, he was being exaggerate, he wanted to emphasize how much this deal is bad for the players in his own opinion, i don’t see any problem with how he said his thought

He’s not as ignorant as you guys think he is.  He was probably referencing the new proposal from owners that will allow them to place rookies in the D-League which would reduce their salary to a max of 75,000.  That’s pretty bad and most folks with Master’s degrees should get about that type of money. 

May I add that’s a bad feature that the owners are striving for.  Good for cost cutting but it makes the whole draft process a joke since you can just stash away 1st round picks for pennies when really you should be paying them regular money.  Think about how advantageous that is for contending teams; they won’t have to spend money on their rookies and can cost cut to sign players to get them over the hump.

IMO, the players aren’t going to get their regular salaries back.   They just need to get that through their head, so they should replace BRI with more favorable system issues since the system issues proposed by owners are extremely harsh.

Sorry players, you can’t win this battle, especially when players that decided to go overseas are coming back and basically stating the conditions overseas are horrible.  The sacrifice in BRI doesn’t result in that big of a change in salary either, for the most part.  Even if salaries were equal from the NBA to overseas, I would still go to the NBA since there’s more comfort in so many ways.

It isn’t happening, I bet they agree on a deal in 2 -3 weeks and we have a 60 game season.

Stop taking Nazr comments so seriously jeez.
