Ok, we all know that the order of the draft will change so I’m going to use ESPN’s draft lottery machine to select the order of who picks in the lottery.

1.NJ – John Wall – Not much change

2.GSW – Evan Turner – The default number 2 pick, they seem to be considering Maggette part of there future now due to his great play this year and recently over the past 20 games (above 60% from the field) also a lineup with Ellis,Curry,Turner and Randolph has four ball handlers on the floor. That’s scary on offense

3.Was -Wes Johnson – Butler is almost as good as gone so getting possibly the best small forward of the class is a good thing for them. He could fit well since he does some similar things as Butler does, able to shoot the three well, explosiveness towards the rim etc.

4.Min -Whiteside – This one is hard since Wes and Turner are gone, I say they trade the pick but if not they should go for highest potential available and with Jefferson (supposedly) available Whiteside could be good. Plus since he will take a while to develop they can hang on to Jefferson if needed.

5.Phi – Favors – Simple as this: Brand and Dalembert are not the future so they need a future frontcourt guy with Spreights.

6.Det – Aldrich – Simple: They have Wallace and Kwame at center….

7.Ind – Aminu – He fits well with Granger and provides them with a potential star.

8.Sac – Henry – He’s in a slump but with Kmart heading out soon they will need a shooter and a floor mate for Tyreke. They could use another big to compliment Hawes and Thompson but this is the smarter move.

9.Uta – Donatas – With no Boozer they need a four badly either starting or off the bench and he fits there style and Sloan will love him

10.Mil – Bradley – Seems a little high for him but with Redd possibly done they need a future young two and they get little Monta with this pick to play with little A.I.

11.Lac – Ebanks – Simple: They have no true future three, roll the dice with Devin.

12.Hou – Warren – I don’t think he should go this high but do to needs without Tmac or a future two they need to take him to fill a void.Also a trade could be likely.

13.NO – Patterson – Dropping like Blair but not as low and simply put who knows how long West or Okafor are there so they need some sort of insurance and they have no good backups. Songaila and Posey? Really?

14.OKC – Monroe – A young team looking at the playoffs needs one thing, a young big with huge up side and Monroe does that. Sure they need a center to block shots and grab boards but you don’t pass on Monroe at 14. As for center needs Ibaka has played very well in limited time and seems to be developing a nice inside presence.

Cousins is much better option than Whiteside, favors or Donatas.

This guy DESTROYS people at the NCAA level as a freshman.

He finally got some minutes last night and put up 27 and 12 with 3 blocks. He is the #1 player in NCAA in scoring per 40/min.

He’s a rebounding freak.

Sure he has some stuff to work out like foul trouble ( so does favors ) and attitude ( but he’s 18 ). However he’s BY far the most productive big man per time played.

He is even more efficient and puts up better numbers than his freshman counterpart John wall, when you break down time played. This guy’s a beast. It won’t shock me if he goes as high as #3.
