jjonzParticipantWhere is a good fit for Nash?
ATL Nash/Childress/HWarrick for KHinrich/MWill and 1st in ’13
Suns get rid of 2 bad contracts & get an expiring deal with Kirk
Nash/BLopez to TBlazers for EWilliams 40+Vert leap (i don’t know what else he can do) & NBatum/Buy-Out AMiller or Camby
TBlazers would have a HOF PG and can play LA @ his natural PF position. & NBatum could prove he is ready for a Starring Role as the Suns start to Rebuild
Lakers Nash/JChildress for LWalton/Artest & 1st rnd pick in ’13
If Lakers do not employ Triangle O they could use a Convential PG to Pair next to Kobe. And Childress could score a little & defend a lot. Artest/Walton could be bought out.
I think Nash has to be traded to a Contender in Order for Him not to Retire. ATL looks like the best option but they have so little movement in their Offense.
What do you guy’s think?

jjonzParticipantRLopez has not develop the way AGentry thought he would, & Gorat makes him expendable. Plus they have CFyre signed for tons of $$$.

Real Talk Real TrophiesParticipantThe Blazers have already said that they are not trading batum and don’t think they would give him up for old pg, even if it is steve nash. I hope phx wouldnt be dumb enough to trade him to the lakers for nothing. He means to much to phx for that. The hawks trade is most reasonable. Really don’t see any other options that would help get him back in title contention and help suns

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantNash/Childress/HWarrick for KHinrich/MWill and 1st in ’13
- The Suns get completely ripped in this deal. They get two bad contracts for a HOF PG playing at a high level, a pretty good SG, and a nice energy spark off the bench. The Suns get nothing in return that will help them rebuild.
Nash/RLopez to TBlazers for EWilliams 40+Vert leap (i don’t know what else he can do) & NBatum/Buy-Out AMiller or Camby
- So basically, two starters are traded for Nicolas Batum? I don’t care if EWilliams has a 50inch vertical leap, this trade is still ridiculous.
Lakers Nash/JChildress for LWalton/Artest & 1st rnd pick in ’13
- I guess it’s not all that bad, but the Lakers lose a lot defensively. They lose the Ron Artest who’s set to guard guys like RG.ay, KDurant, MGinobili, BRoy/GWallace/WMatthews, WChandler/DGallinari/JSmith in the playoffs (Western Conf) and in return they get another PG who can’t really defend? I know Nash is a great PG but the Lakers don’t need a GREAT PG. The Lakers need a PG that can defend and shoot a bit. I don’t think they need another playmaker.

Ghost01ParticipantTongue OUt, you are right, but let me fix one thing
instead of :
"a pretty good SG"
It should read
"a horrible SF"
WHat over the past 3 years makes you believe Josh Chidress is pretty good?

jjonzParticipantin the 1st trade Suns get Cap Room if they can throw in CFyre. Childress/bad contract HWarrick or CFyre/bad Contract and they will have Kirk expiring deal
2nd trade there is only 1 starter Nash. RLopez has been a dissappointment and Gorat makes him expendable. so you have to give up something plus Camby or Miller’s expiring Contract can offset the talent that you send out.
3rd trade it was a stretch but i thought Childress was a pretty good defender. But if the Lakers Fold, they could be ready to make changes.

jjonzParticipantTeams were coming after him in the Offseason, i believe their were like 3-4 teams wanted to sign him. It’s not his fault that Sun’s Rushed & overpaid for Not resigning Amare. The Suns panic & made 3 bad moves last Summer Signed HWarrick/JChildress (Could have signed him to a cheaper contract)/CFyre. Thats 15mill dollars in wasted Contracts. But i think he still has Value in the NBA, maybe not 6mill per Value.
