SOUMIParticipantNash doesn’t really have a scorer’s mentality. He’s a great shooter, but a lot of that is from picking and choosing his spots wisely. It’s not really in his nature to force the issue.

A Lil EnglishParticipantI’ve been thinking this for about 5 years.
If you are an 2x MVP who shoots 50-40-90 kind of numbers then why not shoot it more? Many times I’ve seen him dribble past the basket with an almost wide open layup looking for the open man. I guess he just prefers to ‘make players better’.
Funnily enough people said when he was drafted he is too selective with his shots. You can see it in this video around 1:53 onwards. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9IP7pt-1cbo
I can’t imagine that will change this late in his career.
