JoeWolf1another Grizzly O.J. Mayo is a future star, Memphis could be good if they can hold on to both of them

maravich44ParticipantGreg Oden. I haven’t given up. He’s still young, talented and has a good head on his shoulders. How often do guys with his potential come along? Very few, and he has good young players around him. His health issues should be behind him. He would still be in college had he stayed. I think he will be best centr in league behind Howard in about 3 years.

CorningKingsFan31Participanthes got no chance…if im port, i give pryz long-term deal and let oden spell aldridge and pryz as 1st guy off bench up front….pryz does exactly what oden is supposed to do. block shots and rebound. they dont ask pryz to score adn they wouldnt ask oden to score. and pryz i think is better shot blocker and rebounder than oden. his only flaw is that he picks up dumb fouls. but in todays nba….who doesnt

birdman113Oden leads the NBA in offensive rebounding rate, and hes in the top 5 for defensive reboundeng rate.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/09/2009 - 10:23am #179189

CorningKingsFan31Participantthat with the injury risk that comes with oden and that fact that pryz isnt that old and does his job very well that oden will have the opprtunity in 3 years to be the 2nd best center in the league…………..and have u read the rumors about port maybe making an offer to either dlee or milsap? dont they realize the already great rotation of bigs they have? its like teh money they have is burning a hole in their pocket

0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/09/2009 - 11:20am #179224

Tobe BryantParticipantDont get it twisted now, Mayo had just a good a year as Rose. Its just that Rose played on a more successful team in a better market showcasing his talents a little more. Mayo will be a star along with Rose though.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/09/2009 - 11:42am #179246

JNixonParticipantRose had a much bigger impact than Mayo. Mayo had pretty impressive stats, but Rose had a better season than Mayo did.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 07/09/2009 - 12:32pm #179281
billykParticipantI think the Bulls make the playoffs last year with Mayo….. Rose played on a more talented team (thats why he had more success)…

knicksfan7ParticipantI am being bias bc I am a knicks fan, but he is only going to improve, and can complement any free agent the knicks get with a max contract very well. Just needs to develop consistency on his shot.
