lalailaParticipantJust turned on SL game 2nd quater and already saw him blocking a few shots , making three, couple of turnaround jumpshots, rebounding really well..
like I said before the draft, I would take KAT over him but I dont see THATbig of a difference between them. Elite size, potentially some elite skills on both ends = Top5 talent for me.

xJumpManxParticipantYea, he looks like the best player on the court for that game so far thru one half.

steviechillzParticipantHaven’t watched it yet, but all I remember about him when he was working out this summer and playing in college was that he looked SLOW and had really frail legs(there is bound to be multiple leg injuries in his future). That is a combination for disaster in today’s fast-paced NBA. I hope he proves me wrong, but I think Indiana reached for the guy.
Things I liked about him that you mentioned was that he was a legit 7-footer who can make the three, was an excellent off-the-ball defender(blocking shots weakside, not as great post defender bc of frame), and he was an underrated rebounder.
I will watch some tape later today, but I hope he proves me wrong and is a capable replacement for David West for years to come for the Pacers.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantIf has to stay healthy and Improve but he could be Hibbert’s replacement as early as next season…
I personally never thought to highly about Turner due to the awkwardness of his running form, but plenty of unorthodox players have had long careers in the NBA…
I am pulling for the Pacers, who could challenge Cleveland in the Playoffs as a 4th Seed…
I bet The Clippers would love to trade for Myles too… Just has a high ceiling if he can stay healthy and improve…

IndianaBasketballParticipantHis running gait didn’t seem to affect him much out there and it’s not even close to being as noticeable as it was a few months ago. It’s a muscular issue he’ll be able to keep correcting.
Bird and Vogel were smiling ear to ear on the sidelines…

EspressoprodigyParticipantHe looks like Aldridge on those jumpers. Looking good indeed.

Captain LParticipantI have thought he looked like Aldredge all along but not many posters have shared that opinion. I like that the Jazz drafted Lyles but I was hoping Turner would be there, I knew Bird would spoil that.

Meditated StatesParticipantHe looked incredible in workouts. He has bulked up considerably since NCAA season ended.

ZachAttackParticipantNow you all know why I was so upset the Jazz didn’t get the chance to pick him up.
