He starting to look like the prospect I thought he’d be. Whatever trainer he got with after the season greatly improved his core & hip strength. He’s getting up & down the floor much more fluid and is exploding to the rim like he wasn’t able to at Texas. The jumper we already knew about and repetition will only help it. He should be able to battle for position and hold his ground better now. I think he’s a lock to go 11-13, but wouldn’t be surprised if he got some consideration at 5 or 6 with both teams looking for shooting bigs and rim protection.

 These videos are so stupid, not knocking any of the prospects, but it’s solo drills I mean are people really looking at this as some evidence that someone will be good? Maybe if I go out to the gym next time and film myself shooting jump shots alone I could be a 2nd rd pick.

 He looked a lot more mobile running the court in a couple of those clips.  He talked about working on his hip mobility a couple weeks back and it shows.  He doesn’t look so stiff or awkward when he moves.  His shot looks really smooth although you have to take these videos with a grain of salt.

 I have him going to My Jazz.  Not only a very good player who fits some needs My Jazz have. He is also a respectful,  well spoken young man.

He looks more explosive and fluid here, but a very slow release on his shot.  He won’t be able to get that shot off if someone’s guarding him.  Only if he’s wide open.
