Michael.S.ParticipantDallas did improve alot but i dont see them winning more games than Denver off the fly, and Atl should make the playoffs. but good rankings
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 6:16am #190464

Knicksboy34ParticipantYea, I gotta put Atlanta in.
I see Dallas as a Championship darkhorse. I think with Kidd-Howard-Marion-Dirk-Terry and Dampier could win 55-59 wins
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 6:28am #190473

Lemons4LifeParticipantI don’t think Cleveland will be second. Don’t get me wrong they’ll have a solid season, but Orlando adding Carter I think puts them over Cleveland. Otherwise, in the West it looks almost perfect to me, except I’m not sure Portland will be that good. Instead, I might put Denver there. Good Job.

cp5ParticipantNo 76ers
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 6:32am #190475
Michael.S.Participant76ers will miss Miller a ton so i really dont see them making the playoffs either
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 6:42am #190483

Knicksboy34ParticipantCleveland is very solid. Dont look at that playoffs series. Cleveland addes Shaq, Moon, Parker…they are all solid
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 7:08am #190497

dwat4444ParticipantAgree witt most except for Denver over Dallas and Charlotte in not Chicago. Also I’m going to say OKC beats out GS for the 8th spot but it’s very open
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 7:16am #190501

HaleParticipantI would switch Orlando and Boston. Otherwise I agree on just about everything.

HaleParticipantIt’s all good man. This site is made for arguing and debating. I didn’t take anything personal and I hope you didn’t either. I am sorry too though.

RickyRubio9ParticipantWhere is Iggy9 to defend his team??? Philly has to make it, Andre Miller was good, but now I’m looking for Andre to step up and Jrue Holiday better be readay to get some minutes now. In the West I’ll put the Rockets in there at the eight. Bias much? Yes.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 8:15am #190526

Knicksboy34ParticipantSorry. Lou Williams is not a PG. He is a SG. No real PG so no playoffs. Rockets…I’ll let you think that one over.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 8:20am #190527

JNixonParticipantI have to agree. I think Philly will be on the outside looking in. Lou will do his best, but it wont be good enough.
Unless Philly trades Dalembert and gets a starting level PG, which would be a steal. But I dont see that happening right now.
Brand would have to be a world killer and Andre would have to dominate at an extremely high level and so would Thad. Thats too much.
And dont get me started on Holiday. Makes my head hurt thinking about it lol…
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 8:22am #190529

Knicksboy34ParticipantIf the 76ers can add Jamaal Tinsley…they could be a playoff team
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 8:26am #190530

JNixonParticipantThat would be a good move, if he’s in bball shape. Him and Miller are very similar when they’re both at their best.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 8:30am #190532

Knicksboy34ParticipantAlso, Jrue Holiday will help you guys in the long run…trust me.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 8:34am #190535

JNixonParticipantWhat does Holiday do? From what I’ve seen (I honestly only saw him 2 times in the regular season and 2 time sin the tourny, he was sooo bad those games). I hope he does good though, since he’s on Andre’s team.lol
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 8:39am #190536

Knicksboy34ParticipantWith Jrue Holiday, I think you get a Gary Payton type player. He is more of a PG. He defends well and in the Orlando summer league, he shows great D and nice slashing ability. I think in 3 to 4 years, we may be calling Jrue Holiday one of the best players out of that draft.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 8:44am #190538

JNixonParticipantIf he plays anything like Gary Payton, I will be a very happy man
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 8:48am #190541
OhmilantaParticipantthe eastern conference seems good, but the warriors over the clippers and suns?
Also, i wouldn’t be surprised if the hornets don’t make it cuz they havent made any offseason moves to improve their team
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 8:53am #190545

Knicksboy34ParticipantAs long as CP3, West and Chandler are there…they will make it.
The Warriors are gonna be good. Look for them to make some moves to allow Randolph and Curry to start.
0- Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 8:57am #190552
OhmilantaParticipantthe warriors have only like 2 centers on their team and only 2 power forwards, i dont think thats enough to compete in the west
however, the clippers are stacked with young talent
thats all im trying to say

ball4life66ParticipantATL only 8th? If Marvin ends up resigning the team will be a lot better than they were last year but they will go from 4th to 8th? Def don’t agree on that.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 9:02am #190557

Knicksboy34ParticipantOhmilanta- I understand you. But I think Ellis in year 2 running the point with Curry, Randolph,Maggette, Jackson, Wright and Biedrens will be a playoff team.
ball4life66- They didn’t improve. They are just coming into the season another year older. Washington will come in healthy, Toronto has got Hedo, Miami may get Odom, Chicago has Derrick Rose coming in year 2…Atlanta falls.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 10:38am #190596

ChiCityParticipantI’m going to throw Detroit in there due to the new line-up. Their outcome thoroughly depends upon team chemistry, and a more spacious offence seems to be more likely.
PG-Stuckey
SG-Rip Hamilton
SF-Tayshaun Prince
PF-Charlie Villianueva
C- Kwame BrownBench
-Ben Gordon
-Austin Daye
-Jason Maxiell
-Chris WilcoxThe team seems to be lacking a strong inside presence and is loaded with scoring but it is unclear as to how a two 1st options (C.V when Redd went down) will jell.
An entirely new look with an unpredictable season up ahead. If the Pistons make the playoffs it will be between 6th-8th.0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 10:52am #190603

butidonthavemoneyI would put Phoenix over Golden State.
Indiana might challenge Toronto for the last spot in the East.
Good list.

sheltwon3ParticipantHere are my playoff teams for the East and West. I doing this thinking
-Odom To Miami is not going to happen
-Boozer stays in Utah until they trade him before they have to pay the luxuary maybe before the season because it would be stupid to keep him and slow Milsap’s developement-Sessions to NY is something I hope for
-Lee stays in NY is something i dont care if it does or does not happenEastern Conference
1. Boston
2. Cleveland
3.Orlando
4.Washington
5.Atlanta
6.Miami
7.Chicago
8.TorontoWestern Conference
1. Los Angeles
2. San Antonio
3. Dallas
4. Portland
5. Denver
6. New Orleans is my team but Phoenix will make the playoffs
7. Utah
8. Golden State state could possibly beat out the Hornets but I doubt ittell what you think..
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 3:25pm #190753

Knicksboy34ParticipantI could see it.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 07/26/2009 - 3:26pm #190757

sheltwon3ParticipantAll in all the last spots to both conference will be a dog fight and the Knicks if they can keep Lee and add Sessions could even grab it. Bulls dont have Boozer yet. The Boozer trade can change a lot. Also the longer Utah keeps Boozer the longer they will be take hits.
