Jayhawks2011ParticipantI hope Lebrons goes to the Chicago Bulls. Here is my dream scenario… First trade Loul Deng to sign some more free agents. DENG ISNT a GOOD PLAYER WITH LEBRON… they could do a similar deal as the K. Hinrich one. After the deal they have 40 million in cap space for players in free agency. First, sign Lebron for 16 mil a year. leaving you 24 million to surround him with players. Then, sign R. Allen for 2 year 6 million dollar deal. Leavin you 18 more million dollars. Then sign C. Frye to come off the bench for a 3 year 5 million dollar deal. 13 million more left. Then sign B. Haywood to a 2 year 5 millioin dollar deal. I think Noah would be better as a starting 4 than a center. Haywood would give good defense. 8 million left… Then sign A. Morrow to a 2 year 3 million dollar deal. Great shooter off the bench. Then another 3 million to Steve Blake. Good shooter to give them minutes when Rose is on the bench. only 2 million left…You sign MATT BONNER. They have good defensive big men, and you can afford to have Bonner as a liability for his shooting off the bench. Then with the MLE you can sign a bit of a risk in Josh HOward, but he could come in and give Lebron some minutes, and maybe play some 4 when you go small.
I think that Lebron and Rose would be fantastic if surrounded by a group of shooters like this. It would really open up the court for their playmaking ability.
IT would finally come down to a Dream Lineup like this
D. Rose/S. Blake
Ray Allen/B. Morrow
L. James/J. Howard
J. Noah//Gibson/J. Johnson
B. Hayward/Frye/BonnerI realize this is a very video game like dream, but i think it would be interesting to see how this team would do… I think they would be awesome because it still give D rose to have the ball without signing 2 Max players.

JJeff6Participantalso, Lebrons gonna want way more than just 16 mil. ur gonna look for a 20mil+ contract with him

Jayhawks2011Participantthe Max you can sign him for in 16 million bucks. for the first year with 8% raise per year.

TyroberParticipantthere is a limit. hell be getting twenty million eventually but not fora couple more years. I would much rather Lebron go to Chicago and then let the bulls sign Bosh as well. Those are some very solid players but to be dominate its best to get as many superstars as possible. Rose, LeBron, Bosh looks a ton better than Rose, Lebron, Solidroleplayers

Mr. 19134ParticipantI agree with Tyrober that Bosh would be better then a bunch of role players, but I do agree Deng and James are a bad fit together. I think if the Bulls did get Lebron that Stoudemire would be a better fit because he’s another beast whose playoff tested.
Rose
James
Deng
Stoudemire
NoahThats an imposing lineup where James would move back to shooting guard where he played alot in high school and his rookie year and excelled.

Mr. 19134ParticipantDeng would probably be the only thorn in the lineup but I wouldn’t just give him away because he too young, long, and talented. I would try and move Deng for another Guard or outside shooter/defender. Deng for Bayless and Batum? You never know portland just got Armon Johnson and Luke Babbitt after firing one of the best GM’s in the league.
