delfamParticipantWhy would Toronto take Sullinger when they have Bargnani/Valuncunias at PF/C? They have much bigger needs at PG and SG/SF. I don’t see how they could pass up Lamb at that point.
Also why Lilliard over Marshall for NOH? Maybe it’s just me but Lilliard isn’t even a PG really, he’s just in the mold of a Jarret Jack or Jerryd Bayless, good offensively but doesn’t really help teammates, if anything he’s like OJ Mayo. Marshall is a true PG and would be much better to pair with Davis.

JCBaca15Participanti felt as if barganni is a terrible player, yeah he can shoot but he does not bang or get rebounds, they need to toughen up down low, were as in at 10, lilliard is a risk/reward player, he could be much better than marshall if he learns to control a team, but thats a major if.

JCBaca15Participantbut hes overpaid for his talent level, rebounding is a desire, anybody can just toss up shots, not anybody can make em, but anybody can toss em up, he has no desire in his game. would you pay 50 million for him, jumpshot not fallen hes inaffective.so you would move derozan to the three?

NCarmean18ParticipantBarg is not a terrible player, not by a long shot. He is a 7-footer who can shoot like a guard. He has tremendous range and could easily post 20+ PPG. He an Valanciunas will compliment each other very well in Toronto. Barg will spread the floor and run out to the perimeter while Val will be their big presence down low, banging for low post scores and dragging down most of Toronto’s rebounds. The only thing that makes Barg a liability is defense, but even his lack of it doesn’t make him a bad player. Besides, Valanciunas will take a lot of the load down low, and he will really defend will in the league.
There is no need to trade Barg and there is certainly no need to take Jared Sullinger whenever wing players are the top need for Toronto. Lillard, Lamb, Rivers, and Ross are all excellent candidates for the job.

NCarmean18ParticipantI’d move DeRozen to the 3, no questions asked. He’s more suited to play the SF position, anyway.
Yes, anyone can throw up shots, but not everyone can make them. Anyone who can put up 20+ PPG in the NBA is definitely talented, and is definitely worth getting paid.
