TenSecondTomParticipantYes I know this is a random player / post and I will admit I am a bit biased with him because he played for the U of Arizona (although maybe I’m not because he failed to live up to expectations) but I believe he has what it takes to be a solid backup in the league and I don’t see why he hasn’t had a real opportunity (not a 10 day contract) to play in the league. As a draft prospect, Shakur was seen as an inconsistent shooter who couldn’t overcome those inconsistencies because he wasn’t the greatest floor general either. Throughout his pro career, his jumper has developed, he has matured in his decision making, and he has at least average athleticism with good size at 6’4. I understand it’s really hard to breakthrough in the NBA, but I see Shakur as a player with too much ability and size to not get a chance as opposed to many of these backup guards in the league. I feel as though he’s adequately addressed his most pressing question marks. Love to see guys like this make it somewhere; I was extremely happy Dionte Christmas made the Suns roster (I am a suns fan), I followed him at Temple and although he had issues with the law, he like Shakur deserves a spot in the league. What are your thoughts?

GrandmamaParticipantHe’s played a total of 170 minutes in the NBA, and he’ll be 30 at the start of next season. Now why on earth would any team want him, and how the hell is he going to make any contribution to any team? I thought the full moon was last night….wtf
