I saw clips from a couple games Shabazz played in in the D-League & I was impressed. Yes, I realize they were just highlights of him in the D-League.

Nevertheless, He was hustling & showed a lot of energy. I like to see a lottery pick embrace the opportunity & use it as a chance to develop.

He looked lik he really toned up & got his bounce back. Couldn’t really tell if he improved his handle, but he found the open guy a few times. I would love to see the Wolves trade him to someone that will give him a true shot. What do you guys think?

I was not a fan of the pick for the wolves but I have been impressed with how he has not gone to the media to complain about not playing. I am blown away that the wolves haven’t given him a chance off the bench. How long does shved get to shoot 30% as the backup sg? Free bazz

Not just highlights, but he’s putting up very solid numbers through 4 games.

    • 24.5 PPG
    • 9.8 RPG (5.3 off)
    • 57% FG
    • 7 FTA/PG
    • 3-6 from 3PT

From what I’ve seen, he has some jump and looks a bit slimmer than he was earlier in the season.  5.3 offensive rebounds a game, even for a D-League game, shows a lot of hustle.

Problem isn’t really with Bazz. Yeah I wasn’t a fan of the pick, but Adelman just doesn’t play rookies. Like you said, he’ll send out Shved night in and night out before he even looks at Bazz. The only time he, or Dieng for that matter, get to play is in garbage time. Both of those young guys deserve a shot, and they play pretty well when given the chance.

It was so nice to see Shabazz out there just purely getting a chance to run and play for a good portion.
I think that’s what stood out to me, he just absolutely loved being out there and playing hard against some actual competition as opposed to sitting on the pine.

I think he will be a really good scorer.  If the Wolves give him 30 mins a night I think he could play well now.  The Wolves need all the help they can get, just play him already.  How can Adelman possibly be content with what brewer is giving him?
