NihochuParticipantWho do you think really means the most to their teams ? I don’t mean the people that are in the running for MVP like durant kobe etc …. i mean who do you think that with out this player a team really would be considerably worse … like when lebron left Cleveland he really was the Most valuable player. I would take probably Nash , Love or Rubio and maybe Deng. Nash because he literally does everything for the suns … and makes everything much more easy . I think when either Love or Rubio are out the Timberwolves struggle considerably (who they struggle more without i dunno) and Deng because when he is out they don’t play very well even with Rose and when Rose isn’t playing and Deng is they still have a very good record.

DipoTimeParticipantI think it’s Dwight Howard. Not only does he anchor their defense, but their offense is no good without him too. Their whole team and style of play on both ends is completely focused around him and they have no other real go to players. Anderson has looked really good this year but he can’t carry the team like a Wade or Westbrook if James or Durant is out. Orlando is a lottery team without him and a playoff team with him. They live and die by the 3 but the only way they can really live by it is when Howard is establishing himself in the paint.
I do like your picks though. So many people have dogged Nash for winning those MVPs but he really was the most VALUABLE player and he still is one of them for sure

dede21Doc Howard #1
Probably still Nash #2 though Telfair playing at a high level recently.
Also it seems like the Bobcats do not play very well when Najera is hurt

phila9012Participantthe joy he brings to the bench and how he is great for chemistry of the team. Everyone loves him. I was at the Heat raptors game and Juwan Howard got MVP chants when he went to the line, maybe him too.

HaleParticipantDwight Howard or Steve Nash. Without those two guys, their respective teams wouldn’t win 10 games.

river09ParticipantI’d say Tony Parker would have to be mentioned, without him the Spurs would be sunk. He is the starter, ignition and wheels of their offense (which has been absolutely killing it lately). Same goes for Steve Nash in Pheonix. The point on Rubio is an interesting one, the wolves have absolutely tanked without Rubio in the lineup, I think when he went out they were 21-21 and now they are 26-39 (thats 5-18 without him), but they have also been going considerable time without Ridnour (who has played very well this year), Love (who is arguably the best PF in the league), Barea (who I hate, but plays well) and Beasley (who can score in bunches) over the same time span…

Snubs15ParticipantThe Bobcats don’t play very well period lol. With or without Najera
But Dwight Howard number 1 and Steve Nash makes a ton of sense.
Its hard to beleive the suns could still make the playoffs this late in the season with the roster they have. Steve Nash really makes his team better and makes his teammates alot better kinda how Lebron did in Cleveland.
