to me it’s Doron Lamb, i don’t know why everybody sleep on him, i have no doubt in my mind that he should be a lottery pick, he’s a valued player, understand how to play efficient and effective brand of basketball, dominate and make things happened with his skills and great feel for the game and he is a real winner!
comparison: Drazen Petrovic/Gary Neal

There are probably some higher profile prospects that are being severly underrated but Miller can flat out play.  He has gotten lost behind these last three crops of one-and-done’s that Cal has brought in but each year he has been the "glue" guy that still gets his minutes and always stays productive.

His numbers won’t blow you away but you have to remember he was playing with the likes of John Wall, DeMarcus Cousins, Patrick Patterson, Eric Bledsoe, Brandon Knight, Terrence Jones, Anthony Davis, Doron Lamb, etc.  It is hard to put up consistent numbers when you are playing with that much talent.

He will likely be an early 2nd round pick but given the right situation he could end up performing like a first rounder.

 Henry Sims is such a versatile big man because he has the ability to face up, hit jump hooks over both shoulder, and a decent mid range game. He has super long arms which give him good shot blocking ability, and he was easily a top 5 passing big man in college basketball this year.

I’m thinking Walters.  He could be a (very) poor man’s Wade and I  wouldn’t be shocked to see him as an All Star in the right system.

Whoever works out for a team at the same time with Waitors is going to really hurt their stock and raise his. He may be the next Mini Tough Juice. He has that Caron Butler. Demarcus Cousin "You dont wanna get into a fight with me, I grew up kicking a$$" feel about him. Its a excellent mentality for a undersized, at least height wise, 2 guard who can penetrate and oozes confidence. He might swag hisself out the league but I think he is going to be good, hope he’s their at 25 for Cavs, but he won’t be.

I have never been a Will Buford fan, but Marshon Brooks and Klay Thompson, who have been two of the best value picks from last years draft, they show that a 2 guard with a legit 6-5 to 6-7 body and long arms can score in this league. I think this bodes well for Jeremy Lamb and Will Buford. A guy with length can be taught to defend. I didnt think Brooks would be a good defender but he looks like he will be a pretty good one down the road. 

Dude, D Lamb comparison..Wayne Ellington on the low end and the 3 knee surgery Arenas on the high end. He will never average 15 points a game. No D, no handles, no passion and he’s cocky, but with a small frame and lacks ideal height. BJ Armstrong if he’s lucky.

 Andrew Nicholson – The dude has pro length and a very versitile skillset.  He doesn’t have great athleticism, but he can do anything from break a guy off the dribble, to nailing a 3, to block 8 or 9 shots in a college game.  I think he’s a poor man’s Lamar Odom ( late career post Odom, not early career pt forward Odom) and he’s probably not going to go before 25, yet have a nice productive career.

Kim English – This guy is going to be a lockdown defender at the NBA level.  He has the size, he has the attitude and toughness, and he’s a great spot up 3 point shooter, which is perfect for a lockdown defender in order to make him productive on the offensive end of the court.  He’s going to be a 2nd rounder, but a guy who has a 10 year career guarding the toughest, most athletic position in the league to guard.

Khris Middleton – Middleton had a bad year, plain and simple, but he has 1st round talent.  He had a tough time adjusting after a coach change, which isn’t that uncommon.  He’s a long 6’7” and another 2nd rounder with talent that makes him a steal at his current draft position.

 Also, I disagree about Henry Sims.  He is a very skilled big man, who can pass well and hit a 15 footer, but he’s a slight built 6’9” who is also not very athletic.  I think he’s going to have a very difficult time against the size shift of NBA big men.  He’s skilled, but he’s a jack of all trades master of none type. He doesn’t excell at shot blocking, he doesn’t excell at rebounding or scoring.  He’s a good passer, but that is usually a skill that paired with rebounding or shot blocking makes a great player.  It’s not really something you want your center’s best skill. I don’t buy him as being that much of a factor in the NBA.

More on Walters – I actually like him top 8 or so thanks to his competitiveness and willingness to drive into traffic with athletecism, but, and this always gets me negged, but it’s true, most guys in Boheim’s system don’t reach their potential in the NBA and that really concerns me.  There are remarkably few overachievers (Bing doesn’t count since that’s not even modern era) from the school in the past 30-years and a number of huge talents who underachieved with a grand total of 1 star (Melo).

To me, it’s Tyler Zeller. I think he will start at C in the NBA for 8-10 seasons. Strong on the block, good low post game, and can defend well.

I’m going with Jae Crowder, he wont get drafted until the 40’s at best but the guy was the big east’s best player and can play 2 positions due to this efficiency, high bball iq, and versatility

 

also i agree with RWD about Tyler Zeller… for whatever reason the 7’0” ACC poy has gotten very little love. I think he can start right away

He would play well with a running PG Rondo. Lamb is not on Drazens level and its not close. Drazen gave Jordan 40 plus before. I mentioned Rakim Sanders a few years back and I think he can be second round steal.

Two years in a row the coaches have made an embarrasingly bad decision. 

 

I think it’s Moultrie. And I know i’m beating a dead horse here. but he’s a top 7 player on my board who i’m seeing going at least twice as late and sometimes between 3 and 4. 

 

Nicholson is an intreresting pick as well. 

 

As for second rounders, I like Darius Miller and Malik Wayns the best. Wayns may not be an NBA starter, but he can play a Louis Williams type role coming off a team’s bench.

I like Darius Johnson Odom. He is strong and can get to the basket and shoots very well from three. Plays solid defense and I could see he really plays hard out there. Hes 6"3 a little undersized but I believe he will be able to score at the next level; hes my most underrated player.
