My underrated champ is 2-time back to back winner J-Rich. When I hear about all the past winners he is never brought up in discussions as 1 of the "GREATS". I hear more Nate Robinson than I do J-Rich.

Moon RiverParticipantI forgot about Harold Miner and he won it twice. Baby Jordan did have a vertical and a certain swagger.

I May Be WrongParticipantIggy SHOULD have won it against Nate in 2006. Those dunks were so underrated if you ask me and everyone said he got robbed… But as far as actual winners, I have to go with J-Rich as well because he did have some never before seen dunks and I feel like people have forgotten that

ultrablue123ParticipantJ-Rich. Even when he lost in 2004 he still had some really good dunks (and attempts) and one amazing one

Lotto StudParticipantI guess people tend to forget about J-Rich now, because he is not known just as a dunker, he has incorporated a J to his game which he knocks down consistently from the outside.

blackflash234ParticipantJosh Smith was I think probably the most underrated dunk contest champ. He really put on a show in 2005 and there wasn’t one dunk that didn’t get you out of your seat. Now for a player that was an underrated competitor in the dunk off, does anyone remember Terrence Stansbury? He had some unbelievable dunks when he was competing and I was reminising some of the dunks and NBA Tv showed the dunk off back in 87.
