What was the most underrated move made this summer? A move that wasn’t really talked about too much but will prove to be valuable throughout the season.

Darko to the Knicks. D’Antoni will resurrect him.

Anthony Parker to the Cavs. Lets either him or Delonte come off the bench and provide that second unit with some firepower.

picking up an emerging Foye and solid vet in Mike Miller while only giving up the 5th pick in an unspectacular draft. Those guys will combine with the return of Arenas and haywood as well as the emergence of McGee and Young, as well as the always steady play of Butler and Jamison to put Washington into contention in the east.

Eddie Jordan going to the 76ers. Jordan runs a Princeton offense, and you dont need a true PG to be successful. The 76ers( who dont have a starter caliber, pure PG on there roster) will be a playoff team because Jordan will offset that weakness by using alot of ball movement to create open shots.

lol. knicks fans are HUGE homers. (no offense, but its true) Darko? really? i’m going to have to say andre miller to the blazers.(that for sure happened right?) just what the Blazers need is a true distributer that is actually fundamentally sound (picking on sergio rodriguez) and isn’t a hugechucker (Steve Blake).

Signing Drew Gooden. The biggest thing they really lacked last year was a solid rebounder, especially on the offensive end and that is exactly what the Gooden signing will do. Plus, he’s a lot LOT more mobile than Dampier is on the blocks and can step out and hit a mid-range jumper with some consistency.

wiz definatley. They clear up salary cap space so they can get a dominant big in 2010. igoudala, you’re right, about the Princeton offense and it will favor the sixers because they have a lot of solid scorers and athletes, but no true point guard.

I’m not sure if the Wizards signing was all that great. I do know that they are stacked with scorers and should be fun to watch. Flip will probably give them more than enough freedom. I think that they are still in need of more defense on their team so they didn’t fill their biggest need.

I wouldn’t say the Blair pickup was underrated because everyone was giving San Antonio credit for picking him up. It was a great second round steal, but I am starting to doubt that he is going to get as much time as first thought with the McDyess signing. He should still get quality minutes.

Personally, I like the Ariza signing. I don’t think he’ll ever be a superstar, but the kid is young and he’s not getting overpaid like a lot of guys that we see that we label as high “potential.” The Darko deal is underrated. He’s a good shot blocker and I think he will do well for D’Antoni. If he cannot do well for him then he seriously needs to go back to Europe. Parker was a nice addition. He’ll give the Cavs some more size and defense, but it would have been a nicer pickup about 3 or 4 years ago. I also like the Crawford deal. He’s young athletic and he’s going to be the best scorer on that team. I think he will be a good number 1 offensive option for that team and should make things easier for Joe Johnson.

not sure I like the crawford deal since he takes ALOT of shots, meanin JJ takes even less when if anything he needs to be stepping up (he sucked in the playoffs against the cavs)

I’m goin with the pics ups the magic made with brandon bass and matt barnes. Give the team experience and depth which is what they lacked.

76ers are gonna be in the playoffs? Nope.

The move will turn out to be Jarret Jack to Toronto. His game will floruish in a run-gun system

If Von Wafer goes to the Knicks ( Rumor) he would be the underrated move.

I like the Cavaliers addition of Anthony Parker. He will provide them with a little bit of everything. He’s a career 40% three point shooter and he can pass and rebound. He is also a good defender (1.25 steals per game) with good height at 6-6 for a 2/3

Antonio McDyess to the Spurs…rebounding machine, and one of the best mid-range shooters from the 4 spot, perfect complement to Duncan’s low post game and Parker’s penetration!!!
I wouldn’t be surprised if he averaged 10 and 10 this season, and look for the Spurs to win it all!!!

And I absolutely hate these guys, I’m a big Rockets fan…but the people in that front office know what they’re doing!!!

I think that this deal is the most underrated… It didn’t see much of a headline on NBA.com but nevertheless, these two guys can help LeBron in their skills… Last year the Mo Williams trade wasn’t much of a catch… It was more of an “oh…ok” reaction to that trade but look where they are at during his arrival. I think the two guys they acquired are huge… Anthony Parker is an UPGRADE over Wally…a better defender and a consistent player for the Cavs who doesn’t need to score much… Jamario Moon can relieve Bron off the bench and can be a good defender because of his long arms and athleticism which allowed him to shut down guys like Luol Deng and Vince Carter….

It has to be Brandon Bass to the magic…No one is talking about this move but he could be a solid contributor on an already very good team

The Cavs keep makin smart moves this off season in hopes for a championship and I cant say that they are doin a bad job… with these two they now have instant offense and 3pt shooting with Parker and defense as well as length them both… add that to an already good defensive team, a low post presence in Shaq, and an unselfish superstar who is only gettin better in lebron… they can match up with anybody… i like them or Celtics to win it all

Barnes to Magic is huge. I personally thought the Cavs shoulda made a run for him snd signed him instead of Moon. I think the Jack move to the Raptos give them a solid combo guard off the bench and he’s a former college teammate of Bosh, which could help next summer

marquis daniels adds a big dimension to the boston bench. a good slasher, defender and can provide the energy the celtics lacked since posey left.
