Which NBA team’s fanbase annoys you the most? The one that I can’t stand at all is the Clippers. I live in Southern California and I had never even heard of a Clippers fan until Blake Griffin came along. They were the team that nobody liked as the Yankees of the NBA shared not only the same location, but the same arena as well. Then it got even worse when CP3 came. Now it has come to a point where most of the Laker fans I know bandwagoners over to the other LA team. Every franchise in every sport has its great and awful years, bandwagons don’t get to experience that natural fun of sports like how the Warrior fans who liked them in the Antawn Jamison era had to have felt this last June. I just don’t see the excitement of celebrating that your team is good when you’ve only liked them for a year, unless you’re a kid and just gained an interest in sports.

Pretty sure the Celtics are the Yankees of the NBA.

    Yup, it’s true.

You wish man.  Celtics have had what, 2 final appearances since the 80s?  11 of their titles came when there were only about 8 teams in the league.

The Lakers are the Yankess of the NBA.  Look at their success in the modern era.  Not even comparable.

So if you couldn’t tell.  Celtics fans USED to be my least favorite fans.  Now a days it is 76er fans and it’s not even close.  I’ve never seen a group of fans so gung ho about losing.  Or get so defensive when someone else suggests that being absolute shit isn’t the only way to get good.  76er fans have been convinced that the only way to build a team is by trading young players for more draft picks, in sort of a endless cycle until they somehow strike gold.  And 76er fans eat that up.

I should also state that I believe Kobe fans are some of the worst.  I myself am a Lakers fan, loyal to the team… not any individual player.  And while Kobe is probably my favorite player of the last 20 years, I still put the Lakers ahead.  There are however "Laker" fans that I consider Kobe fans.  Meaning they care about Kobe more than they do the Lakers.  It is this fan that I am extremely excited to lose when he retires.  Kobe fans are the ones that bring constant scorn to my team from all major media outlets.

In fact I am hoping Kobe fans become James Harden fans or something.  I am definitely ready for them to be done being Laker fans though.

Most Kobe fans in my area are now Curry fans. There are like 5 people I personally know who were Laker fans when I met them who now go for the Warriors.

The Heat bandwagon fans were pretty bad.  I was a senior in high school when it was Lebron’s first season in Miami.  Idk about anybody else but my high school suddenly had tons of Heat fans.  People jumped from another team to Miami and even people who didn’t watch a lot of sports were suddenly fans.  So many of them carried this arrogance about how great the team was and how everybody else sucked.

I’m a Heat fan and this is so true. Glad those bandwagon fans left to Cleveland. We are the only fanbase that leaves a finals game even if its not over.(Game 6 2013 Finals).

Oh yes…Clipper fans hate the Warriors and believe there’s this rivaly between the two teams.  Living here in the Yay, there isn’t!!!  The Warriors and their fans don’t think about the Clippers.  Sure the two teams are both California teams in the same conference, but the two teams are in completely different directions right now.  The Dubs are coming off a championship season while the Clippers are coming from blowing a 3-1 lead in the 2nd round.  Still Clipper fans keep on telling us Dub fans, how bad the Warriors are!  Clipper fans need to worry less about the NBA Champions Warrors and more about getting out of the 2nd round!  Clipper fans don’t know much about the game.

Being born and raised in Nor Cal, I absolutely can not stand the Warriors fanbase right now. Around the time I first started following the NBA 14 years ago, it was like wow whenever I’d see somebody wearing something with the Warriors logo. Now it’s like I can’t go anywhere in public without somebody wearing a shirt or hat. All of these fans coming out of nowhere just really gets on my nerves. No I am not just saying that because I’m a Sacramento fan, I’d say the same thing if there were Milwaukee Buck fans everywhere I go. When the finals were still going on, I asked this guy wearing a jersey and hat if he thinks Jason Richardson will ever play in the league again and his response was who? The reason why I like the Kings is because my first year following the NBA, they had the best regular season record. 14 years have gone by and I have still refused to join another team’s bandwagon even through the roughest times .I don’t bandwagon because it’s no fun when you’re going crazy for a team you didn’t even give a sh*t about only one or two years ago, which the majority of the ones to see today didn’t.

By far raptors have the most annoying fans who dont know crap about the basketball history. Fans who (forgave) vince carter 15years later and accepted him again. Without vince no1 would ever want to sign to toronto, he put this city on the basketball map and it shows how much the fans dont know by devaluing everything he did because he left and wanted to be a winner. Without vince there is no great canadian influx of basketball talent that is coming into the league. They keep screaming we the norht, like what does taht even mean… terrible sentence structure for a team logo that sounds so annoying, and that is what u choose to be your logo slash slogan. They are trying to create a rivlary against brooklyn nets who are not even winners lol… this is just my opinion

Most fans of most teams are annoying as F. Most fans are star F-ers, and they just worship the best (offensive) player on their team, or worse, worship some big star like LeBron or Kobe or now Curry.

As a Celtics fan, you would have thought Danny traded a prime KG and prime PPierce right in the middle of a legit title window, lol.

Then, while a lot of fans were still grieving the loss of Pierce and KG, they declared that Rondo was a superstar and everybody else was garbage.

Then these star worshippers declared that the Celtics should tank after Rondo was traded, since he was our only STAR!!!!.

Then this past summer, all of these same STAR worshippers declared that Jared Sullinger was DUE for a breakout season as a legit STAR!!!! this season, and nobody else was worth talking about. They declared that Sully, the familiar face from the KG/PP days, was DUE to break out as a STAR!!!!,  even though Sully had gained 30 lbs in the middle of the season last year, causing a stress fracture in his foot.

Even now, with Sully showing up FAT yet again, they still ride his nuts and couldn’t care less about any other Celtic, unless the show signs of being a STAR!!!!.

I suspect most fan bases are exactly like this, and their attraction to the NBA is an emotional attraction to heroes they can worship like Spiderman.

it’s the 76ers. First off, Philly is know to be a tough place to play for. Fans and area media are brutal when players are struggling. But then this same fan base known for their high sports IQ and high expectations all of a sudden are backing the most horrendous tanking show in the history of the NBA.

but how we can have a whole thread criticizing "Bandwagon" fans that Only show up when their local team starts winning  & then you say the 76ers fans are your vote for worst in the League for being Loyal when their team is setting records sucking…

The fans didn’t trade for Andrew Bynum & wreck the franchise 3 years ago & the fans didn’t hire Sam Hinke 2+ years ago – no matter how anyone feels about their rebuild – the fans are definitely Loyal, the Only reason Hinkie is able to do his long term plan is b/c the public is behind him… My whole life I’ve heard Phila has the worst fans, but their support of the Sixers is impressive to me, no one can ever call them "bandwagon" fans….

Can we just label Bandwagoners as a fanbase? Because I think everyone hates them over any specific teams fanbase, I know I do. Especially those ones that know absolutely nothing about basketball, and the only players they’ve ever heard of are LeBron, Kobe, and Michael Jordan.

Yea, the Warriors bandwagon is becoming really annoying. I have a lot of friends who suddenley are rabid fans of the Warriors because of Steph Curry but don’t know about Baron Davis and Al Harrington.
