Lotto StudParticipantBoth Markieff & Marcus Morris are set to hire an agent & declare for the draft. This is not an unexpected move at all. The big question now is who else will follow from the Jayhawks team, Selby, Robinson, Taylor?

BKKnicksfanParticipantI think Robinson is coming out, but Taylor and Selby are staying. I like for both Morris twins, I think both can go top 15.

Lotto StudParticipantThe big question for Kansas is, if the Morris twins & Robinson leave how good are their only 2 bigs they will have on the roster in Jeff Whithey 7’0” 235 Center & Justin Wesley 6’8” 200 Forward. This will be a Jayhawk team that has nothing but guards on the squad. As of right now they have 7 guards returning to a team that had 12 at the start of the season. Bill Self did not recruit any bigs nor has any coming in at the moment so this will be a major blow, especially if Selby & Taylor leave as well.

SwatLakeCityParticipantI think only Taylor will stay. Selby should stay but I think his attitude gets the better of him and he decides to declare.
Too bad Henry didn’t stay. Kansas would have been a much better team: Taylor, Selby, Henry, Markieff, Marcus. They could be in the final four and possibly chmpionship game if Henry would have stayed!!

BKKnicksfanParticipantAccording to ESPN, They are looking at DeAndre Daniels ( I hope he lands at Duke) so he can help the frontcourt a bit. Also, Otto Porter (6-9), Jamari Taylor (6-8), Braden Anderson (6-8) and Juco Stan Simpson (6-11) are all undecided and considering Kansas. I think they can get two, maybe three considering the playing time is there.

The lake show2Deandre will help the SF position but he’s not even close to being a PF or Center. He never goes into the post

BKKnicksfanParticipantI agree he’s not a PF or C, but he’s a SF and I consider a SF a part of the frontcourt.

JoeWolf1I expect Robinson to leave in order to provide for his sister, from a basketball standpoint another year would do him well as far as development and he’d be the star next year and if he came back I think he’d be lottery, but you have to respect what he needs to do for his family.
DeAndre Daniels’ former teammate and good friend has walked on to KU and is already practicing with the team. I think that is a good sign for Daniels coming to KU and Jamri Taylor is expected to visit KU in the next couple weeks.
He’s a guard, but Ben McLemore is expected to annouce his commitment to KU today also, it was between Missouri and KU and with Anderson gone, he’s expected to annouce his decision today. KU reloads like they always do, but next year there will be some growing pains. They’ll win 20+ games and make the tourney, but I don’t expect any deep runs.

The lake show2Ben already announced for Kansas yesterday or the day before.
Robinson would be wise to go or stay, either way he is a lock to go first round this year. Teams seem to be in love with his potential and some teams say he will be better than either Morris twins( according to what scouts told ESPN)

JoeWolf1I read that too on espn. I don’t think Thomas will ever be as skilled of a post scorer or face up shooter as either Morris twin, but he’s already a better volume rebounder and I think he has the potential to be a 10+ rebound per game player in the NBA. It’s a mind set with him and you can tell he is committed to hitting the glass.
He’s also really quick, and for as raw as he is on offense is ball handling is decent for a college power forward, if he were to get even a consistant 8 or 10 foot jumper so defenders would have to respect his shot when he faced up he could be deadly driving baseline. If seen this trend in his game and he’s effective to an extent, but after it happens once defenders usually sag because he isn’t a threat shooting jumpers.
When he had games where he’d play 20-30 minutes he reminded me of Blake Griffin as a freshman, but to a lesser extent. He has more refinement to do with his game and Bball IQ to improve, but it’s easy to see the potential.
