butidonthavemoneyA while back, I made a topic asking why Al-Farouq Aminu was held is such high esteem by NBA scouts. I’ve done a lot of scouting since then, so I have a better idea of a lot of these prospects. Recently it seems that the playing field has evened. Potential top-5 pick Aminu has been struggling. Damion James has been destroying and is now a projected lottery pick on this website. Stanley Robinson is considered a bubble lottery pick by most draft experts. Devin Ebanks can do some things really well, and is also a projected lottery pick. John Henson most likely won’t come out this year, but has lottery talent. Draftexpress has had Quincy Pondexter going top-20 for a while now.
Sooooo, rank me these six very similar-type prospects. All athletic, defensive-minded, hustle small-forwards who have shakey jump shots — but have a lot of potential regardless…
Al-Farouq Aminu
Damion James
Stanley Robinson
Devin Ebanks
John Henson
Quincy PondexterEDIT: Oh yeah, rank them based on who you think will be the better NBA player.

knicksfan7ParticipantNone of these guys look like turtles, so they all suck. Wesley Johnson all the way.

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantAre we going by current talent or potential? If it’s the former, then this is my list:
James
Aminu
Robinson
Ebanks
Pondexter
Henson0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/03/2010 - 5:47pm #253038

butidonthavemoneyknicksfan7 if I wanted you to rank turtles, I would give you a job application to O’Connor’s Turtle Terrarium, but I don’t! I just don’t!
Rank these guys or suffer my wrath!
Right now this is mine:
Al-Farouq Aminu
Damion James
John Henson
Devin Ebanks
Stanley Robinson
Quincy PondexterBut James and Aminu are really close.

knicksfan7ParticipantIf a job opens up for O’Connor’s Turtle Terrarium tell me immediately.
As for the list:
Aminu
James
Ebanks
Henson
Pondexter
RobinsonI think Pondexter and Robinson will contribute right away because of all the college experience, though in the long run the ones above will do better.
