GlenTaylorSucksParticipantThis seriously gets more ridiculous every day. First you hear about that pick who said he was 5 years younger than the actually was, now another snag. Apparently, Jonny Flynn wasn’t necessarily cleared by Houston doctors, so they had to send another pick to make them happy.
Can something good happen to the Wolves for a change (other than landing D-Will, though I’m sure they’ll find a way to eff that one up)?

WizardofOzParticipantSo they don’t have ANY pick next year??? In what’s supposed to be a stacked draft???
I feel sorry for Wolves fans.

boshjonesfordParticipantwhat was the point of that jonny flyn draft last year they didnt get enough in return for him….sometimes you draft for need and other times you draft the best player available—- they didnt to ether as BPA (derozan, curry ect) while need (FLynn was also not a need as they just got rubio)

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantI feel bad for Flynn. The hip injury is not something that could have been seen before the draft, and it might kill it his career. He had a good enough rookie season. It could have been something to build off, but last season was a disaster. Now, you have to wonder whether his body will allow him to get back to even that rookie level of play.

CalipariParticipantKahn is just unbelievably incompetent. I don’t care if he even had reason to believe of the age or not, that gets pinned on him. He is absolutely in over his head with running a basketball team. He should have been gone the second he picked Rubio and Flynn. They guy’s erratic, incompetent, and is doing a terrible job in Minny.
Right now, they could’ve had a backcourt of Derozan/Curry.
Also, he takes Johnson over Cousins, who would’ve been great next to Love.
Of course he couldn’t draft perfect, but come on. He’s completely incompetent. Bizarre trades and the like.
They could have had a promising lineup that consisted of Cousins/Love/Derozan/Curry.
KAHN NEEDS TO GO

TallmanNYCParticipantRubio wasn’t a lock to come over and Flynn looked like an NBA player his rookie year as well. I picked him with my last pick in the fantasy draft that year because he was torching the summer league and getting to the line like D. Wade. He was a decent 12th man for fantasy purposes, as I recall, and seemed to be a decent PG taking into account all the learning stuff that rookies go through especially PGs.
