Lebron’s HairlineParticipantMe too I’m surprised mkg is at 78 with no real offensive game he must have crazy ratings on defense and rebounding, Anthony Davis at 80 is surprising seeing that strength is weighed huge for a big man in this game

IndianaBasketballParticipantI bet Davis’ speed, quickness, vertical, dunks, blocks and defensive awareness are pretty high.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantIndiana those I already posted I only posted the recent ones, thanks for the full releases didn’t see them all. Looks like 2k is generous with the ratings this year

joecheck88ParticipantMore and more with this game, the ratings don’t matter as much. It’s what the players accel at. Many do look very generous but I bet their games and stats are on point.

IndianaBasketballParticipantYea, those team listings got leaked.
I’m already scratching my head at some of these. Gerald Green a 75? Athleticism, etc gets your rating hyped up in 2K.
Iman Shumpert better than Paul George is suspect. They have Luol Deng better than Paul Pierce. Wtf they thinkin?

aamir543ParticipantAllen Iverson’s in the game???!!!!!!!!! Now I really can’t wait, this game is going to be amazing.

WolfRobParticipantWhyd KD’s rating go down? Second best player in the world… No way Dwight is a 95 if KD is a 94

For_Never_EverParticipantJ.R Smith rating is far lower than it should be.

HaleParticipantDuncan an 87? Durant worse then D12? Mo Williams a 78? A few questionable decisions there.

King CaluchaParticipantI think it’s not about overall ratings… individual attributes matter most…
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/17/2012 - 6:40pm #714949
Kinguy11ParticipantGoing on IB’s post Blair, Bosh, Brooks, George and West are underrated imo.
Overrated: Shumpert, Mo Williams, Robinson and Anthony Davis being that high before even playing a game is a stretch.
In this game athletism seems to pump your rating while defence not really matter that much by the looks.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantDuncan at 87 seems ok if you look at his attributes. His athleticism is probably a D- while his off and def awareness is in the 90’s which is why his ovr is so high

couch gmParticipantRating may not matter as much regarding gameplay but they screw up CPU trades in Association mode. For me, most of the players seem overrated. I find both the Association and in gameplay is more realistic when an average NBA starter is rated between 73-75, borderline all-starts 80ish and true super-stars only at 90+. The fact is most of the NBA talent should reside in the middle class between 70-78 overall rating.

TRC1991ParticipantNate Robinson a 77?! he can light it up on an inconsistent basis but hes useless at everything else
