What are everyones thoughts on Monty Williams? I like how he carries himself as a coach. Regarding the officiating, he states his problems and opinions then moves on saying no matter what the focus is still the game and it is just another obstacle that needs to be over come. He even called into the league office to discuss some plays in particular where Bynum just camped in the lane. He doesn’t make excuses or cry about the officiating like I have seen some coaches, but makes valid points and moves on keeping focus on the bigger task at hand (beating the Lakers). I have been really impressed by the first year coach.

I really wish Chris Paul and Co. could shock the Lakers, but I doubt that they can win game 6 tonight, yet alone the series.

Im not big on rating coaching, but he is smart to focus on defense and try to make every play count cause when you are the least talented team you must focus on those aspects to have any chance to win. Also I think the Hornets will win tonight but yea i actually think the Lakers will annihilate the Hornets in game 7,unless Okafor and Landry get their shit together.

I think He’s doing a good job. Add another star to go with Paul and they will be ready.

Monty is a great coach who motivates his guys to play inspirational basketball. It doesnt hurt to have the best point guard in the league when healthy. I really hope CP3 gets a star beside him. He deserves to win and the city of New Orleans love him

compete with the Lakers yet win a game.  I underestimated Monty and the Hornets.  I also overestimated the Lakers cockiness and lack of motivation as well.
