TooNice4TVParticipantI don’t think that the Lakers are going to trade Bynum unless it’s for a legitimate top 10-15 all-star. E.G. the Chris bosh scenario.
Plus i think that the lakers know that they’re 2-0 in the finals with Bynum on the court, and 0-1 without him. He and Gasol are the perfect 4-5 complimented big men today.

BasketBalAllanParticipantThank you DNYCE, I was feeling overwhelmed and a little stressed about all the chemistry and physics I have to do but now I remember that at least I am blessed to live in what most people would consider a sane state of mind.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 09/19/2010 - 10:30am #404213

BasterdInABasketParticipantYoure a laker fan and you want this?? I know for sure that if this trade would happen LA wouldnt win the championship
Teams win championships with defense and size in the post not with undersized ball hogs. That size is their advantage over every team in the league and especially vs the heat.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 09/19/2010 - 10:31am #404214

HitsterParticipantThe Lakers will only trade Bynum for a legit Franchise Level player who would give them a few years more to help the current core compete. There are some top FA’s coming up in 2012 and no doubt the Lakers will look at all options but Elis would not make much sense alongside Kobe and Phil Jackson would no be keen on Ellis’s lack of defence.

DNYCEWhy would you guys keep “Beans”? This helps take him off your hands for the next 4 years. With that money you guys can go out and get a better SG in the future.

DNYCEYou guys would have Lee, Bynum, Udoh, Gadzuric, BWright, and Amundson. Is that not enough frontcourt help????

0 - Posted on: Sun, 09/19/2010 - 11:28am #404234
ChrischiParticipantEllis next to Kobe makes no sense. The Lakers already have two mediocre cheap PGs who perfectly fit into the Laker system and next to Kobe.
First of all Ellis is overrated. Getting a good center like Bynum is very hard while the market is full of good SGs. If Bynum takes care of his injuries he could easily be a 16-10-2 guy for another team, probably even more
Sorry, but you are you sure that you’re a Lakers fan?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 09/19/2010 - 11:31am #404236

flybobbyflyParticipantdude why do you want the lakers to make a trade so bad? i mean they are the favorites to win the championship with the team they have this year. they already got barnes and blake this offseason. i get thta you feel bynum has some value but the lakers need him to win a championship. they already have the best outside scorer in the league. what are guys like monta or melo really going to bring?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 09/19/2010 - 11:38am #404238

McDunkinDNYCE what are we supposed to get out of these threads? People here obviously arent as fascinated by trades that more than likely wont happen (see Bosh for Bynum) as you are. Do you think the right combination in the trade machine will change everybody’s mind about how annoying these are?
Lets make a deal. I will never post a gif again if either of these things happen
A. One of these trades actually goes down.
B. You stop making these threads.

BasketBalAllanParticipantI am pretty busy with college and work this next week and a half but if the draft (and other related activities) are sometime after that then I could probably join in, though I have never been in a keeper league.

mikeyvthedonParticipantTaking out you suckers and you don’t know how I did it…..
Why do you hate Andrew Bynum so much? You try and trade him everyday! I know he gets hurt, but his being able to play has won the Lakers a couple titles. I do not like Gasol at Center, and think Bynum being in the line-up gives them a monster front court that is the envy of the league. But, I will let you spit game….
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/20/2010 - 5:42am #404377
Cardinal_FanParticipantThey would be nuts to trade Bynum, when he’s healthy he’s the best center in the league!!!!!!!!!!!
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/20/2010 - 6:24am #404384
Jlv2010Ellis to the Lakers wouldn’t be a bad trade. Plus, Bynum likes to be injured than healthy.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/20/2010 - 6:25am #404385

DNYCEI’d rather Monta on the Lakers over Melo(although the chances of Melo coming to the Lakers is at 90% right now LOL).
This lineup would be so dangerous

Ellis/Fisher/Blake
Bryant/Brown/Blake
Artest/Barnes/Ebanks/Walton
