Hello im new to this board and not sure if this is the right place to put this
I had put this on the grizzly board about a week ago but there wasn’t a lot of activity there but seeing as how monta ellis has express him wanting to play point and with a big guard i thought this trade made a lot of sense.

Memphis trades away Mike Conley Hasheem Thabeet and the draft rights to Xavier Henry. they get back monta ellis and a future protected pick from cleveland

Golden State trades Monta Ellis and get back Hasheem Thabeet, Delonte West, and the rights to Xavier Henry.

Clevelands trades Delonte West and a future first and get back Mike Conley.

Cleveland who has already inquired about mike conley basically kill two birds with one stone trading away delonta west’s expiring contract.
Golden State fills out the holes in their roster and shed salary with Xavier Henry and delonte west and get a young center in Thabeet.
Memphis does this to upgrade their backcourt replacing conley with an elite player

Now about the trade, thats not happening the Warriors rejected a trade that would have landed them OJ Mayo for Monta Ellis

And will only trade him for a big time star, not anyone like OJ…. I mean Granger or Iggy or maybe they want more. will they get those offers? prolly not but thts not the point
